The Flinstone's: Part 2 Meteora, Greece!

Got this idea from another post HERE

Hope you enjoy this as much as i did!

The Greek word Meteora means "suspended in the air", and our words meteorite and meteorology come from the same root. The conglomerate rock at Meteora, Greece, has eroded into fantastic peaks upon which medieval monks built monasteries, several of which are still active.

There are plenty of pictures online if you want to go see more, i just got a few on here.

They used this site for filming a James Bond movie. Don't recall the name. Went there when I was about 12 or 13. They had this fantastic incense at the churches. I asked what it was, and they thought I wanted candy. Burning the candy didn't smell too good...

Thank you again for posting such beauty. Wow! I was surprised something wasnt built on top of that humongous rock not far from the home. Can tell ya, they must not have too many weeds to pull.

lol i wonder how much their insurance would cost?

Wouldnt want a house like that in an earthquake prone area... well i guess you could rig it with escape pods.

That is awsome. Just imagin if your kids were running about the house like they do and you said " STOP KIDS OR THE HOUSE WILL FALL DOWN" great way to tame kids
