There were 39 combat related killings in Iraq during the month of
January.....

In the fair city of Detroit there were 35 murders in the month of
January.....

That's just one American city, about as deadly as the entire war
torn country of Iraq.

When some claim President Bush shouldn't have started this war,
state the following .

FDR... led us into World War II. Germany never did attacked us
Japan did. From 1941-1945, 450,000 lives were lost, an average
of 112,500 per year.

Truman... finished that war and started one in Korea, North Korea
never attacked us. From 1950-1953, 55,000 lives were lost, this
was an average of 18,334 per year.

John F. Kennedy... started the Vietnam conflict in 1962. Vietnam
never attacked us.

Johnson... turned Vietnam into a quagmire. From 1965-1975, also
58,000 lives were lost, an average of 5,800 per year.

Clinton... went to war in Bosnia without UN or French approval,
Bosnia never attacked us. He was offered Osama bin Laden's
head on a platter three times by Sudan and did nothing. Osama
has attacked us on multiple occasions.

In the two years since terrorists attacked us President Bush has ...
liberated two countries, crushed the Taliban, crippled al-Qaida, put
nuclear inspectors in Libya, Iran and North Korea without firing once,
and captured a terrorist who slaughtered 300,000 of his own people.

The Democrats are complaining about how long the war is going, but
It took less time to take Iraq, than it took for Janet Reno to take the
Branch Davidian compound. That was a 51 day operation.

We've been looking for evidence of chemical weapons in Iraq for less
time than it took Hillary Clinton to find the Rose Law Firm billing records.

It took less time for the 3rd Infantry Division and the Marines to destroy
the Medina Republican Guard than it took Ted Kennedy to call the police
after his Oldsmobile sank at Chappaquiddick.

It took less time to take Iraq than it took to count the votes in Florida!!!!

Our Commander-In-Chief is doing a GREAT JOB!
The Military morale is high!

Our biased media hopes we are too ignorant to realize the facts.

MoOse... More Iraqis have died because of the US in two wars and because of sanctions than ever died because of Saddam over his entire reign. We too two relatively safe countries and turned them into the most dangerous places on the planet. Also Bush did nothing with Libya, Iran and North Korea. As a matter of a fact two of the nations basically are laughing in the face of Bush and the 3rd one seems to have helped one of the other two get technology. Bush is a joke. Bush 41 and Bush 43 have been responsible for the deaths of many Iraqis. Look what they did in the first gulf war. These spineless cowards turned their back on the group in northern Iraq. They promised these people support if they would go to overthrow Saddam. The time came and the US was nowhere to be found. Tens of thousands of people died as a result of that back stabbing move by the US. Did that qualify as a war crime? Who knows. But believe me when I tell you Bush 43 has done absolutely nothing but cause death and hardship for millions over in Iraq and Afghanistan. And I'm sure since he has no domestic policy and he is falling in the polls that Iran will be next.

Just my opinion.

Edit: The more I think about it the more I think the last post was well off the mark with Bush. Those claims are basically trying to put him in the same league as Reagan. Reagan helped bring down the Soviet Union and end the cold war without a shot being fired. Much of Europe changed as a result. Your comment implies that basically Bush pulled off the same thing. There have been massive casualties on the Iraqi and Afghan side plus mounting casualties on our side and there is no end in sight.

The Taliban is still around and killing people in Afghanistan.

Al-Qaida is still around and have a nearly endless supply of willing recruits.

Iraq is hardly a success story right now.

North Korea reactivated it's nuclear facilities in 2002, on Bush's watch.
In 2003, also on Bush's watch, North Korea withdraws from the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty. N Korea Nuclear Timeline

You handle one thing at a time...you DO NOT spread your army thin...he's taken...for now...a more political approach with the above countries...if he is re-elected...you WILL see something done military wise if these countrys do not get their acts straight...

Which is exactly why I don't think Bush will be re-elected. No one wants a tyrant for a leader.

We will see. Afterall it's not the votes that are important, it is who counts the votes.

WWII? This war was conducted under false pretenses and thus is an illegal invasion with no reason apart from imperialist motives. Yes Saddam is gone but that is far from the point. As has been said, the sanctions placed on Iraq killed far more than Saddam ever did, thats a fact. You cannot compare the Iraq war to the World Wars when the allies were struggling to defeat a power man fascist dictator who was trying to conquer the world. Don't be so idiotic. This war is a disgrace.
