It's funny how many of these draw from shows/toys my generation enjoyed back in the 80's

GI Joe, Transformers, Smurfs, etc.

I'm really looking forward to Burton's (and Depp's) take on Dark Shadows...(a bit before my time, but I did see the remake attempts, and the original series when it was on the Sci-Fi channel)....

I think Del Toro pulled out of the Hobbit, if I recall though.

No telling how many of these will actually come out in 2011....(though Harry Potter is a given)

I didnt realize there was going to be a Mad Max 4?

I loved the first and second ones (and to some degree the third).

The only good thing that could come out of World War 3 is the opportunity it would give us to drive around in crazy cars with spikes on the wheels, ramming other people off the road.

And we could dress up like punks from the 80's with feathers in our hair and leather trousers that have holes in them so our arse cheeks hang out. In fact, we'd all have to dress like that - just to fit in.

Thanks for letting me know it's coming out. I havent been to the cinema for years (i think it was 'The Phantom Menace' i last saw) because there has never been anything ive wanted to watch that much - until now.
