CNN (Headline News) is covering the BP/Mustang Story!

This is excellent news

I hope ATS get a good mention but most of all I hope they look into a few more topics on ATS. I know it's a corporate run media but the bad guys are all at the top, if we can break through on lower levels that would be awesome, once one of 'the elite chain' of media outlets cover a story it's followed by all the others so hopefully this will be BIG!

althought ATS does present a format for speculative and contraversial subject matter to be discussed...

it was only a matter of time before a mainstream media outlet would choose to listen to what ATSers were already discussing.

I agree, this is going to be good press for ATS. I'm glad to see that what we do here extends beyond our own circle. This really makes me proud to be a card carrying ATSer!

Just as a question to any who may know.

What is the legal status of these protected animals?

What are the penalties for breaching those laws?

Is the protected status applicable in international law?

Basically i want to know who can be sued.

I really hope it goes well for him. I'll be very surprised if they give George a fair run and don't try to make him look like a wing nut. I'll be cringing as I think about how many times the anchor tries to cut him off like they usually do with people that come on with non-mainstream information. Standard protocol for handling the vocal conspiracy types. I wonder who they will have on the split screen as the devils advocate.

Edit to add: At least George has the grit to handle himself. I'm sure he will do as well as anyone.

CNN is just a start, the news organization is at the bottom of the barrel when it comes to reporting on anything that is not an agenda of those in Obama's Administration. The lack of access to the Gulf has made them angry just a little.

Once they come to this site and see what it's really about they will shut off their comp. and turn CNN back on.

I agree there are a lot of really crap threads here. There is also a lot of really good information with cited sources (most of the time multiple sources) and killer research.

In fact I usually come here to see what's up with world events before I go looking elsewhere. Usually if it is out there it is covered here somewhere.

Hopefully this will open some eyes and not scare people away from us.

Anyway, anyone who'd want to turn off ATS and go back to CNN after visiting this sight, well, oh never mind! If I can't say anything nice about them I wont say anything at all!
