Young Facebook users will be able to report suspicious or inappropriate online behaviour with the launch of a new safety application.Children can use the facility to report abuse to the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre (Ceop) and Facebook.

Finally Facebook do something right! I have children and they always want to go on Facebook as they have seen the games such as farmville and solitaire and always want to play them but me and their mum are reluctant to let them go on it in fear of perverts latching onto them.

Just read that this wont be compulsary and that people will have to install this as an app.

I doubt this button will achieve anything.

If such creeps want to groom children then they will do so and not in a way which will arouse suspicion.
