In simultaneous bombings bearing the hallmarks of international terrorists, two explosions have ripped through crowds watching the World Cup final in two places in Uganda's capital, killing 64 people, police said.

This is horrific. Using something as innocuous as a sporting event as a platform to spread whatever pointless message they're trying to spread by blowing innocent people up.

Al-Shabab is linked to Al-Qaeda. I wonder if they're starting to feel like they're out of the spotlight, and had to do something stupid like this to feel important again.

It's pretty retarded.

It's funny, the one year everyone does not go insane in soccer, everyone else does.

We were promised something big that the whole world would be aware of, weren't we? Not aliens, after all, but certainly terrorism.


Sigh, and I also noticed how little fan rioting there was at this huge event....

This reminds me of the open letter from Castro. It talked about something happening during the world cup.
