Obama’s Freudian slip is telling

Last week, Obama warmly greeted Israel’s hard-line Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on an official White House visit and assured him that the US “will never ask Israel to take any steps that would undermine their security interests.” He volunteered to visit Israel at “any time” and inadvertently uttered this truism that goes a long way to explaining why he is seemingly rolling over in favor of the Jewish state:

“We strongly believe that, given its size, its history, the region that it’s in and the threats that are leveled against us — against it, that Israel has unique security requirements.”

“Leveled against us”? Does this mean that Israel and the US are one and the same? Until now this has been the stuff of conspiracy theorists. This Freudian slip begs the question is Obama or any US leader for that matter, genuinely America’s commander in chief?

Two great snippets are the actual freudian slip "against us - against it", and the "stuff of conspiracy theorists".

This news article/commetary just goes to show that quite possibly our 'conspiracy theory' forums not only give members a place to question our respective governments actions, but appear to slowly be drawing more people into a more questioning awareness.

No, it means Obama has slipped and accidentally revealed that Israel is against the US. Obama is a flip flopper, which sucks for every other category, but for the US/Israel coalition, it's actually an interesting turn of events. However, Obama is still a coward and will do anything Israel wants him to do. I just enjoy how all the Israel supporters are screaming their lungs out to impeach Obama because he is not licking their boots.

well, being labelled and not doing every jewish and israeli request is suicide for a politician because everyone will use it against him. unfortunately jewish organizations and rabbi's have incredible power that's disproportionate to the common population who try to be good citizens and assimilate to the culture and customs of their country. jewish people never consider themselves american first. don't believe me ask your neighbor what he is and he'll say american, ask a jew born and raised in america and he'll answer you jewish. jewish and israeli interest in america will always come first to them and american interest second. it looks like america changes its interest to coincide with israeli interest to save face because they are powerless or scared.
