The AMERICAN GOVERNMENT are the known killers and absolutely they are terrorists.

The United States Government is absolutely the most vile, corrupt and purely evil organization on the planet Earth.

This is really well said, and if everybody could accept the truth the world would immediately be a better place. I can see usa becoming as hated as israel, the both are afterall tightly in bed together, and have no consideration for others.

What he is saying is that any form of attack of the U.S. against Iran will start a nuclear war.

In fact he seems to be claiming the U.S. will be the ones to use nuclear weapons to attack Iran...

"Tales armas serían sustituidas por otras sumamente destructivas, más idóneas para aterrorizar a los que dirigen los Estados y lograr la nueva estrategia de impunidad total",

www.elpais.cr...

He accused Obama of deceiving the world about the "world without nukes" speech he gave, and that he might have been wrong about the date but that the situation is hanging from a thin thread and could still happen.

Really?... Did you know that the Cuban government, among some others, also send their troops to start wars around the world for "the spread of the revolution"?...

Of course, now a days the people sent are only military trainers, and a few specialists, but also money and other aid is sent by the Cuban regime to fight wars in other countries...

Did you know that instead of feeding the Cuban people he has helped create other wars to "Spread the revolution"?....

Of course not right?... castro is wonderful to those that don't know the truth about him, or of Communism...

In regards to Fidel's warning to the world about the US/Israeli attack on Iran, it is besides the point if Castro is/was an evil bastard dictator. It doesn't make him wrong in what he is saying.

There are numerous people warning of such a thing, another name is Gerald Celente. He is saying that TPTB next plan is to take us all to war, as history is repeating itself now with the next "Greatest Depression".

We are moving closer and closer to a third world war unfortunately. I really don't think much is going to derail that fact, nothing short of divine intervention.. World War Three is coming, it is in the cards.

I'm not Cuban, and I did not experience life under Fidel's Government. If he is an evil man with no soul I at the very least thank him sincerely for having the bravery to stand up to the US empire and truly expose their plans in the Middle-East.

Thank you at least for trying to warn us Fidel. Unfortunately it is falling on deaf ears and your true message being distorted and muddled by typical human bickering

Thanks, but I think I have seen that snippet from other English MSM reporting of this event/speech/interview. However I would still like to see the WHOLE transcript (and a translation into English), which I don't think your link gives, as I have read elsewhere that he diverged into all sorts of topics during the interview...

Until I read the whole thing, how for instance can I decide whether he sounds 'crazy' or how well details tie up with other information available to me?

[I don't want summaries or quotes, I want to read the whole thing myself, not get it from any versions edited by third parties]

IMO Castro being in that, his country is privy to certain info based off of his operating outside of world norms. It would concern me only in the aspect that he may know something we don't.

But thats the real kick isnt it? Based off of his recent statements one could assume that he's been getting intel from his network that doesn't sit well with the status quo.

A war of that magnitude would affect all nations in one way or the other. Maybe this is his chief concern. Keep in mind Castro also keeps the channels open with the likes of Chavez so his prediction could be based off of certain undertones he's been getting off of his unofficial wire.

Say what you like about Castro, even if you disagree or hate the man, recognise that he has been around the block, been at the centre of the brink of a nuclear war previously and lived to tell the tale, has survived numerous assassination attempts, and has lived to a grand old age.

He has been there, done that. He has been on the global stage, love him or hate him.

When he warns of a world war, at least give him a listen in the knowledge of how long he has been in global politics and his past long history of involvement. Ignore and scoff at him, potentially at your peril.

And please, can we stop the "senile" slurs of Castro? I ask not as a fan of Castro, but out of annoyance of the quite ignorant view held by some that to be over eighty must automatically mean that you are senile.

Criticise his policies, and for what he has done in his life by all means, but to just dismiss someone as "senile" for being over 80 is just immature and merely encourages the dismissal and the promotion of ageism directed at elderly people.

Your parents being from Cuba and you living in Miami does not give you the moral high ground to speak for an entire nation (of which only a tiny portion flee, almost entirely for better personal economic prospects), especially when your entire world view is based on the "pile of BS" your parents fed you (perhaps with some justification, I know a nice house, nice clothes and a new car are nice luxuries to have) and CANF leaflets you distribute on Miami street corners in the vein and misguided scope of understanding that you are making the world better.

I am not Cuban, but I met and befriended 2 young dudes from Cuba traveling with a Guatemalan chick for a short but dense two and a half months or so - and we had lots of great discussions. So I know what I am talking about, not to mention the numerous books I have read, and personal relationships I had with a group of 12 people or so who went to Cuba in a "brigade" in 2005.

How old are you?
Were you born in Cuba?
When did you leave Cuba?
Who was behind the decision?
And why?

Cuba is poor - not because of anything it has done to cause this (bar having an undiversified economy for 20 or so years as the Soviet Unions sugar producer (against Che's advice)) - It has only recently come out of what it called its "Special Period" following the collapse of the USSR and the re-diversification of its production and the rise of other Latin American nations (esp Venezuela).

The American embargo is what creates alot of the problems the Cuban people face - if you cant accept that simple fact, then there is nothing I can do to help you until you burn your membership card to CANF.

The BS people believe these days...

No its not, and you haven't done anything except spout shallow strawman argumentitive fluff in response to a detailed composite of things people (particularly Americans) need to understand. Which I will post again just for your pleasure.

For all those who look down on Cuba and Castro consider this:

IF:
A tiny third world island nation situated right below the worlds largest and only superpower who hates it, they have to import 60% of its food (95% of its own food production is organic and pesticide free) and has nothing to export except cigars and a little bit of nickel (from a single mine I believe) can give all its citizens: 100% FREE world-class Universal Healthcare, 100% Free education (right through university), has higher literacy rates than the US (I think, in any case they are good), has virtually the same life expectancy as Americans, can feed all its citizens, can send doctors all over the world, gives scholarships to anybody from a third-world country (and the US) -AND- influence to varying degrees, in particular, the greater part of all of Latin America (and elsewhere) in the face of a crippling and illegal blockade/embargo and other imperialistic aggression... (I could go on)

With all that in mind, has it ever occurred to any of you that - They must be doing something right!?

WOW! You guys are still discussing that "speech" by Castro?

I watched it last night, and I was very disappointed. Just an old man trying to wrestle a little bit of fame and attention from his last couple of years on the planet. This rambling name calling and blaming of the US for everything that ever went wrong in the world is ridiculous. I think Castro may be a member of ATS! Or at least an avid reader.

His so called speech did not have anything new since his reflections writing. It didn't have anything specific or credible. It didn't have any inside information, or anything other than conjecture of a washed up old-timer that is no longer privy to even his own governments dealings, let alone the rest of the world.

For instance, he states that Iran has been preparing for this conflict for 30 years. So what? The US has been continually at war and slowly surrounding Iran for those same 30 years. Our troops are battle hardened from fighting all of Iran's neighbors. Our technology is many generations ahead of theirs. They don't have stealth, and satellites, and dragonskin armor and force-fields for their tanks. Good God, look at what kind of stuff Israel is putting on the battle field! The US and Israel are generations ahead of the other super powers in the world, imagine how far ahead of Iran that we are.

Nuclear? Why? If the US attacks Iran it will be to destroy their nuclear capability. We don't need nuclear weapons for that, and it would be a PR nightmare to use them. Sure, we will use depleted uranium shells, but that has nothing, absolutely nothing to do with nuclear weapons. If Iran has any nuclear weapons, which I highly doubt, but if they do, they will never get off the ground. They will attempt to lob them at Israel, but they will never make it out of Iran.

Castro is correct about one thing. We have subs off the coast of China, we have warships off the coast of Costa Rica, we have missiles in Poland, and we have military bases in almost every country in the world. That means that when we attack Iran, there will be nothing but words coming from Russia or China or Venezueala or Cuba. THERE WILL BE NO WORLD WAR IF THE US ATTACKS. YOU HAVE MY WORD!

Now, what Castro did not say, and what would have made way more sense if you are looking for a world war. The only place the US is weak, is in the US!! The "Red Dawn Scenario" would make perfect sense!

The path to World War goes like this:

Cuba, Venezuela, Iran, and N. Korea plot to attack the US on her own soil. Brazil, Russian, Iran, China (BRIC) supply weapons and training and distraction.

1. Using high tech weaponry supplied by BRIC, N. Korea, launches attacks in Japan, Korea, and along the US West Coast.

2. Simultaneously, Cuba begins attacks along the Gulf Coast, and flirts with coming up the Mississippi.

3. Cartels and armed Venezuelan Forces along with Mexican Mercs invade the Southern Border.

4. Sleeper Cells from Al Qaeda, and the Taliban begin terrorist attacks from within our borders.

Now, with all of our troops, including National Guard spread out all over the world, the US will have to make very hard choices here. And either way that we choose, we loose!

Option A. We pull back, and Iran invades Iraq and Israel, while Russia invades Afghanistan, and Georgia, and N. Korea takes S. Korea with Chinese help.

Option B. We try to fight the war on all fronts, and we don't concede any ground. The US mainland becomes a war zone, and the populace and sporadic military units along with help from Canadian and UN troops tries to defend it.

Option A., the US falls from power and is left with disgruntled enemies all over the world, while several other Countries seize control of resources.

Option B., the US is entirely overextended in a world war, and war on its own soil, the populace resents the government, the entire Federal Government collapses, and the country fragments and fights regional battles, eventually winning, but having to rebuild from scratch!!

Now, if Castro had said that, then I would have known that he had a handle on the world situation. The US is extremely vulnerable at home, but as long as we keep attacking overseas we will be dominant! As soon as enough little countries collude to attack simultaneously on our soil, the whole house of cards falls down!! All our advanced weaponry and firepower is worthless on American soil. We cannot defend our mainland with overwhelming force. "Red Dawn" is the path to World War, but we have been bullying so long out on the street corner that nobody has noticed the back gate is open!

You didn't take our nuclear deterrent into account.

Neat ideas though. But if that stuff happened, the nuclear genie would also be let out of the bottle.

In that case, the first nations to be nuked would probably be the non-nuclear armed states and their forces.

*This would take those nations out of the game whilst giving the belligerent nuclear powers the chance to see the consequences of our resolve - and allow them the opportunity to decide whether or not they want to take this to the next level.

If it was up to me, I'd nuke all of the nations involved in a massive strike.

Good Point! Our nukes are worthless on our home soil, but if someone invades the US and we nuke their home country, that is a pretty good deterrent!

I should have put an Option C. We are forced to resort to Nukes, and retaliatory strikes on the invaders home countries, and the world breaks out in Nuclear War. There is the path to WWIII.

Problems with Nukes. If we Nuke NK, the radiation drifts to Japan, China, possibly even Cali. Every Country that could be Nuked has a Nuclear armed neighbor that wouldn't like it, and there is potential that we nuked right back! I don't believe that any developed country will ever use nukes, maybe a rogue state or terrorist, but no developed country. It is a valid deterrent though. I give you that!

It seems quite obvious the world is about to experience a culling.
It's part of a depopulation scheme whereby the end is world domination of natural resources with one new addition; human resources.

You see, here is the problem.
When one learns of liberty and freedom, they recognize the inheritence of it all, the inalienability of it's very nature.

Many no longer are separated by land masses and lack of communication/transportation.
Society has become one whether they were ready or not.
It is time to start acting as One.

Too much power and influence in the hands of a few will create an uneducated, unintellectual, follower or rather subject/slave class of 'tools' to be used for another's' agenda's.

Neither will discover satisfaction.
I would rather walk among wise men than a sea of fools.
A king never looked fond of a fool.
It would be against his nature.

A true leader need not take 'anything' from his neighbor.
If he is a true Sovereign, he is self sufficient in his own right.
A Sovereign being, beeing. A work of Art 'realized' by it's own self-determinism. As it should. Carry on, carry on.....

The 'fabric' of "American" was diluted by design, though not a good one.
The fabric, on the *better* hand are the very principles of Life, Liberty, and the 'freedom' to pursue happiness, provided he does no harm unto his neighbor's.....path.

A 'writ' of habeaus corpus (via jury) based on one's collective sapient conscience, will achieve the Golden Mean of justice. A scale.....to scale so to say.
Horace once said, "I teach that all men are mad".
He knew what he said. He knew the entire rank and file.
A unique though useful 'perpective'.

A 'community' style social structure is more efficient, effective and accountable. This is common sense though quite 'rural' in concept and practice. Besides, it really does take a village to raise a child. Jesus found alot of love. He gave it back though never claimed to be a God. The Creator spoke through him as an Arc unto humanity.

Neither part/ies will find satisfaction.
Stress will increase, entropy will set in the human intellect.
Foolishness will prevail.
This will not work.

Folks in folkland (sarcasm of the 1st ammendment) no longer see a feudal society nor the need for such controls to be in place to 'check' them from their very nature.
As long as man does no harm unto another while respecting the creative and unique paths of another, society will see itself for what it should be.

One creative unit unto the whole.
As one human unto humanity.
One organism affecting change with confluence of action.

If my messages are not for you.
They are not for you.
I will not judge you.
It is not my place.

It is my duty to be a steward.
An honor.
As it 'should' be.

I don't usually go on like this though we are at a crossroads of such significance on so many levels that affective and effective change is no longer an option but rather a necessity.

In time, these words will perish.
Freedom will always Ring.
It is your very nature.

After all the wasted resources have been, well, wasted, the people will be left to start again in a much damaged world.
This 'should' be a time for healing and understanding.

Man does not control the cosmos.
He/she is truly subject to it.
By natural and intelligent design.

When the smoke clears?
Your choice.
You have always had a choice.

The river always took the path of least resistance.
So as energy itself.
Human beings?
Next.....

A friend of mine got to know my Mother today.
He was surprised by her innocence and willingness to see the positive and not allow the negative to enter her 'conScience'.

Though I agree with her philosophy, it is not my path to avoid what I see just ahead. Just do the Right thing from here forward.
I care!

I rest, in peace, believe it or not.
Because "I" said so.
That was my decision.
Know what I mean.

Good night and good luck folks.
The cosmos is right on time.
By quantum design.
I imagine, it keeps it interesting.
The Creativity of it all.....

There is alot I keep to myself.
I hold many secrets.
I am a trusted keeper.
We all 'keep' one another.

Keep Love and Understanding.
It works, by intelligent design.
I repeat myself for a Reason.
I trust, a Good one.

I know, I've been on candid camera myself for quite some time.
I have nothing to hide.
Innocent.....though In creation.
Alive.....
in a temporal shell.

"This town needs an enema".
.....with love.
Dividendended by design.

I hope this is my last post.
I have a family to 'attend' to.
I'm looking forward to it.

As awkward as my path here on ATS has been.
My End is to Love and to Understand.
It's the best I can do unto ^U^

Hi Perseus,

I remember reading once that you can always set free a slave, but you can never enslave a free man. It was a noble thought, and I believed it at the time, but not anymore.

I see plenty of freemen enslaved in a multitude of ways, and some of them quite volunatarily. They "prefer" to be slaves!!

I saw a 4th of July sign that read something from Aesop (i think), it said, "Better to starve a free man than fatten as a slave." Also, no longer true. I can name many people I know that would say, "what's wrong with being a slave if they treat you well and your happy?"

I agree with your concept, but I don't think the human race is ready to be a gelatinous socialist entity like bees or ants. I think we need a power structure. Imagine if every ant was jealous and vying to be the queen? The whole society would fail quickly. As humans, that is our carnal nature. We are competitive, and we don't want to see someone doing better than ourselves. In that way, we are our own worst enemy. I don't think the race is ready for what you propose.

WW3 isnt going to happen, sure most dont like the US that much, but you forget that most dont like Iran a whole lot more.

N. Korea is doing nothing without chinas support, china is doing nothing because we owe them a lot of money.

and thinking america isnt safe at home because the military will be spread out.... I think its complete opposite. Getting here would be hard enough for them, then there are still plenty of military installations in this country, and there are also 300 million + guns in this country and no shortage of people willing to use them if we got invaded. Our troops think al-quida is bad....imagine stirring up this hornets nest!

Not to mention if we got invaded that would be the perfect time for the military to test out all those new toys we got at places like area 51.

So just relax, although recent events do look like action against iran is possible (which I hope isnt true we dont have the money for this crap) It will not turn into a world war.
