Felons Voting Illegally May Have Put Franken Over the Top in Minnesota, Study Finds

The six-month election recount that turned former "Saturday Night Live" comedian Al Franken into a U.S. senator may have been decided by convicted felons who voted illegally in Minnesota's Twin Cities.

That's the finding of an 18-month study conducted by Minnesota Majority, a conservative watchdog group, which found that at least 341 convicted felons in largely Democratic Minneapolis-St. Paul voted illegally in the 2008 Senate race between Franken, a Democrat, and his Republican opponent, then-incumbent Sen. Norm Coleman. .

The final recount vote in the race, determined six months after Election Day, showed Franken beat Coleman by 312 votes -- fewer votes than the number of felons whose illegal ballots were counted , according to Minnesota Majority's newly released study, which matched publicly available conviction lists with voting records.

This is not really something would surprise many here on ATS. The Minnesota recount was a major political battle that was ultimately decided in the courts at the end. Many absentee ballots were not allowed to be counted, it seemed like a major conspiracy at the time for the recount to have taken so long.

All through out the recount process, illegal voting went unchecked. This study, though by a conservative group, finds illegal voting had occurred and there is proof of it.

What does this mean? Can Al Franken be called back from congress or would the DoJ also let this one slide as they did with the Black Panther Voting Case?

Seeing how the DoJ has ignored the constitution at every chance they got, I doubt this election fraud would ever be brought up to be challenged or even mentioned in the Government Controlled Media.

If the Courts and DoJ do not end up recalling this fraud of an election, then may be the people can.

How to RECALL your Congressman?

A state representative is put into office by voters from his home state. When those voters are unhappy with their representative's performance, they may call for a recall. It's a long and difficult process and there are certain steps that need to be followed to recall a state representative.

The following are the 18 states where state representatives can be recalled: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Idaho, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota , Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, North Dakota, Oregon, Rhode Island, Washington and Wisconsin. The District of Columbia also allows recalls.

This Liberal/Progressive/Socialist/Communist machine is destroying our constitution and stealing our elections.

No surprise here. Add the illegal votes manufactured by ACORN to the felons, the dead people voting, and the homeless who are driven from polling booth to polling both, and you have a typical Democratic Party election "get out the vote" campaign. If they can't win an election honestly, they'll just STEAL it.

If the educated citizens in Minnesota let it be close enough that 300some illegal votes pushed Franken over the top, then they deserve to have that clown representing them. He is an embarrassment.

I read up on both candidates and honestly I think they both suck, but I am kinda glad it wasnt Coleman because he is a total clown, I read his quotes on marijuana where he just blatantly lies and makes up "facts", there is no excuse for that, if he will lie about that he'll lie about other things as well. Plus, I think it's ridiculous felons cant vote, so it doesn't bother me they got too, although I understand its not fair for the other candidate(assuming all of his votes were legit, which is just an assumption). I really dont care about this story either way, both seem to be run of the mill dem and rep puppets, no matter which one won, it would be more of the same.

I guess they "found" the votes needed to ram Franken into office. DOJ certainly has their cup full at the moment. I will imagine that this will be just as ignored as the mess with 2008 primary Hillary vs. Obama. Her campaign filed complaints that were simply placed into the circular file.

That debacle is growing legs again and is finally getting attention now that Obamamania has subsided. I started a thread on that this morning which fell upon deaf ears.

Had this taken place in another state maybe.

In Minnesota, you cannot vote while serving a sentence as a result of a felony conviction. However, once the full sentence is completed - including parole and probation - commonly called "off paper", the right to vote is automatically restored.

The individuals who did this study checked and double checked all laws pertaining to this illegal voting and also crosschecked names to those who are illegible to vote.

The state and county prosecutors are currently stonewalling the results of this study as they do not want anything to do with this.

OMG! Democrats steal elections?

Perhaps if you live in an alternate universe where you can just say something and it rewrites history. That, unfortunately for republicans, isn't the universe we all live in.

Here is a piece of history that will never be rewritten. It involves republicans, voter fraud, and felons...

Voting hasn't mattered for at least half a century now.

Just ignore them. Ignore their requests for information and money. Ignore their knocks and calls. Ignore their laws. Who needs a law to behave themselves anyway? Those who would misbehave will do so regardless of law.

Live your life fully the way you wish to live it.

Ignore them until they act violently toward you then by all means defend yourself.

There hasn't been a government here worth acknowledging for about 225 years now.

The "stole" the Senate seat formerly held by AK Senator Ted Stevens by trumping up charges against him, having the fastest trial in history to which he was um, found guilty. Then after the election it was learned that prosecuters withheld all sorts of fun evidence, and that the Dems no longer wanted to pursue the case, since Begich won the seat.

It was all done, in both cases, to secure the 60 votes to give Obama Carte Blanche when he won, really, did anyone think McCain had a shot?

Kennedy replaced by an "R", and now Byrd dead, without those two stolen seats, where would all of these wonderful reforms be?

I wholeheartedly agree with you regarding the Democratic machine which will anything and everything possible to garner as much power and then stay in the position to use that power. What happened in Alaska will not be forgotten by those who understand that our constitution is being burned in front of our eyes by these loony toons in power.

Also, we might have replaced Kennedy with a republican, but that is all Brown is..a Republican in name only. He is going to be voting for the new Democratic fraud of a Financial bill. In this Financial Fraud bill, businesses are now going to be overseen by Gender/Race equality czar,
And Brown is voting for this contraption, another disappointment.
