Or...have you ever watched a school of fish like sardines in the ocean or an aquarium, etc? The group is always sqirming and twisting and morphing
because the fish have a single, vital algorithm: "get as close to the center of the horde as possible." This means the outside is always pushing in
and everyone is seeking the most "normal" possible state...while, simulataneously, due to this movement, the very definition of "normal" (i.e.,
the position of the "center" in the water) is always changing.
