The Solution

I'm in shock, I'm in pain. Why are so many people so insane ?
They destroy peoples lives, with nothing more then a bunch of lies.

They set us up on opposing sides, intentionally fuel our rage.
The lies divide us, a game well played.

So naive, so immature. They believe it all. I'm not sure how...
No simple reason for the mondain , to live in ignorance throughout the day.

They say it's bliss, to live your live, like sheep in a herd, unaware each day.
A wolf will come, to take them all, but who will notice their judgment call?

To be awake, will save the day. When the big bad wolf will come out and play.
There is a chance for them to live. It requires a wake up call they can not miss.

Denying ignorance is a start, but it takes a bit more.
Respect and tolerance will feed the poor.

If we can all cough up just a little respect. No living being will starve to death
Respect for life will set us free, it will replace our lack of empathy.

Please people think how your life would be, when I was you and you were me.
What you do to me, you do to you. My pain will end up hurting you.

Nice expression SK, a good wake up call and reminder of the golden rule.
Respect seems not too much to ask, except from those who do not care I guess. But yes, with wakeful awareness we can recognize the wolves in sheep's clothing before they pounce on all of us.
Ignorance can be bliss, until it sneaks up and takes a bite out of our arse's!
So I have to keep things in perspective, balancing the good and bad, the hope and loss of faith, and human kindness vs malevolence. We have to include praise with our condemnation too, so that we don't allow ourselves to become totally immersed in negativity, staining our soul to the point of becoming totally disenchanted, but it is a struggle sometimes.
