okay, I'm not going to comment on the footage... true or not... but why would any intelligent alien fly a space vehicle just like that in the open skies.. is it because that they want to throw some excitement to humans !! Like a display !! ..... or maybe they haven't figure out that we humans can actually see these stuff ... that would make them so unintelligent !! I mean what's the point !! behave so secretive yet fly like idiots !!

You got a star out of me at least.

Slippery Jim.....

I know.....if only they'd take the trouble to look into some of this more closely. :shk:

For everyone that posts all of these NV videos your thread should be required reading:

Highly recommended.
Thanks and I s&f'd your post.

Tomdham.....

Thank you for your kind & positive words!

That ongoing Kruse case is an incredible example of people just blindly follow dishonest & dangerous hoaxing, all of which is based on the nefarious use of night vision equipment.

If any of the so called debunkers on this site would ever travel to this place, they would witness truely amazing things. Its all very well being an armchair skeptic with your keyboard at hand, but please I implore you to go to these places and look up at night, then tell me that these lights in IR are the ISS, LANTERNS, BIRDS, e.t.c. My own personal view is that alot of these sightings are hybrid technology built around the knowledge of what we have learnt from our neighours. However, as said hundreds of times before.

Why keep this technology quiet? if not to fulfil an agenda only a few are privvy to

So, you're of the opinion that many of these sightings are of top secret hybrid technologies being made and piloted by us?

Yeah that makes sense and I can really see why they'd choose to fly these objects over an area that's inhabited by a bunch of hippies that are well known to spend their evenings looking up into the night sky with night vision goggles on.

It makes perfect sense.

I originally thought it could be a lantern, but I think that Phage has shown us that it's more than likely to be the ISS. I'm happy with that explanation.

Well my friend I have personally with my own eyes witnessed a craft close up hovering over a field. That was many years ago now.

May I suggest that before hanging on the words of 'mr popular' you take in to consideration other peoples firsthand experiences if they are indeed ours why has the technology been kept secret for all these years? what can 'they possibly be doing with the technology if not to explore off the planet.

I assure you once you see something with your own eyes that resembles something out of star trek, your life changes forever I can promise you that.

I don't hang on anyones words so don't worry about that. I'd also like to point out that I'd love to see some credible evidence of UFO's, be it ET or some sort of super classified silent aircraft but as of yet I haven't seen anything that convices me that either exists.

I'd love to see something for myself and fingers crossed it happens to me one day as long as it doesn't turn into some kind of War of the Worlds scenario

I'm not an unbeliever in ET life, infact quite the opposite. I'm just a little bit skeptical when it comes to them actually getting here and destroying our corn fields and cutting up our cows.

I'll keep my eyes on the skies though

I'm not making any judgements here; why does it look that way? I mean the whole video. Why is it a circular image and not a full screen image like normal videos? Is there something partially covering the lens? Why does the circular visible part of the image move independently of the camera movement?

I watched this without sound so I apologize if it was explained in the audio of the video. I also don't think this strange quality has any effect on the legitimacy of the footage or the ontology of the object, I'm just curious.

They used another lens which screws on to the original to enhance the distance that they can view from. It magnifies the object at greater distances. That's all.

Boy, this video must have offended you. I've noticed that these sort of responses only come from the same types of individuals as if they have something vested in ensuring that no one believes anything that is released.

I have a suggestion. Go out there, get your own footage and then prove them all wrong. Otherwise, your attempt at debunking goes on a huge list of debunking attempts that no one cares about.

Um Yeah. Because these people care so much as to whether you believe them that they would go through such efforts.

Just because hoaxing is something that you would probably do, doesn't mean that everyone else is quite as dishonest.

I have noticed something when it comes to people in general. Those that generally lie the most and have the worst sort of characters, usually think that everyone else is as corrupt as an individual as they are. Case in point, one of the most skeptical people I know, is also one of the biggest liars that I have ever met (True story). He thinks that everyone is as big of a loser as he is, therefore he never knows whom to believe or trust.

This sort of thing is also rampant in politics. Lets take Mark Foley for instance. The biggest advocate for the protection of children under the child pornography laws was also one of the biggest transgressors of that law. Or, those who scream the loudest against gays, are usually the one's with the biggest secret hiding in their closets.

Or lets look at Rush Limbaugh. The biggest proponent for the "War on Drugs," just happened to also be running an oxycontin drug ring. Those that scream the loudest are always the one's displaying the very attributes that they are against.

Just a thought.

My experience & qualifications do count because I've spent more time in the air than you've had hot dinners and that experience gives me the ability see these lights for myself and KNOW without a shadow of a doubt that these are not conventional craft and they are not lanterns, they are exactly what the video says .... a UFO .. Unidentified.

When you've accumulated even some aviation experience and then traveled to James ranch yourself come back to the table.

Show me some proof Mr Pilot. Show me proof that this isn't a lantern. Give me your take on why it isn't a lantern from a pilots perspective. What is it about this video that makes you so sure that it's not a lantern?

Actually, while you're at it..show me some proof that you're a pilot. You certainly don't seem like one to me. Not that I think it's relevent anyway.

[edit on 11-7-2010 by RMFX1]

Oh, somehow you've ascertained the reality or non-reality of him being a pilot from your limited exchanges here on ATS? You got all of that from him telling you that the Gilliand ranch is legitimate?

WOW. You must be psychic. You must have abilities that far supersede the reality or lack thereof of UFO's. Amazing.

What color shirt am I wearing right now?

The altitude isn't even close to being the same. The object in the OP's video was below the tree line and had a greater luminosity and size, plus, there was another object traveling with the object in the OP's video. I see none of that in yours.

Just another perspective.

Of course you're with Phage. He has a whole pack that's with him. That's evident from the small amount of time that I've been here.

I have no idea what this object is, but, anytime I see this group of people who consistently come in and debunk videos of this nature, I have to wonder what the purpose is. What do you guys have vested in the game of ensuring that everyone thinks the same? Do you guys require uniformity in order reassure yourselves of your own realities?

I have to agree with you here, but my only objection with the latest ECETI video is that each UFO event is always filmed with only ONE camera, usually a nightvision camera. Nightvision filming by itself brings up all sorts of troublesome questions when it comes to verifying the distance and luminousity of a UFO.

Now...

It would seem reasonable enough that the Eceti ranch has more than enough resources to buy 2 separate cameras (standard/nightvision) to film an event simultaneously. The object would still be reasonably bright under standard filming conditions. If, say, this latest event had been filmed with a regular video camera as well, we could get a better grasp on how bright and far the object is, rule out CGI, rule out lanterns/birds & overall corroborate the sighting.

Given the high number of events that seem to happen there, one must wonder why these extra steps haven't been taken to silence the skeptics?

Putting aside arguments by several members ruining this thread, I would like to thank the OP for posting this.
If Phages input is true to what could have been on the video, then maybe we got a really cool look at ISS passing over.

Either way, it was a cool vid.
Sadly, when someone SAYS they saw something, folks want video proof.
When somewon tries to get a vid out to prove it, they are still bashed regardless.
I do not know what the light in the vid is, but I certainly wont bash the fellow for tryin.

Wow, dont we have enough stress in our daily lives than to have to put up with it in these threads, too?

Well the problem, especially with the bashing, is that it seems that certain people's paychecks are dependent on whether they can make everyone else think the same as themselves. They stand much to lose if they cannot sway public opinion their way. When this happens, people feel as if their agency, or will has been infringed upon. I tend to call the aggressors energy vampires. They first have to break the will of those who believe or think differently, and then try to get them to conform to what society calls, "conventional logic."

All you guys have to do is ignore those members. That is what the ignore feature is for. Then, you can have a conversation with others who are either like-minded, or at least rational in their attempt to offer their own opinions, even if they differ from yours.

If everyone were to simply put these "paid" members on ignore, then eventually, the "paid" members will literally be in a room arguing their point to themselves.

Just a thought folks.

And, I have to agree back Nightvision. Its true that the night shot feature, or infrared often applies more false lighting than would obviously normally be there. So, the false enhancement can be deceiving, but, at least it demonstrates that there's an actual object of light there.

The trees did give this object height, and it certainly was not satellite height, which by the way is above the atmosphere, IN SPACE!

Sooo....if you take away the light being distorted it because its a satelite, which it is not, and that its reflecting light off its lenses, which it is not, because its not even a satelite, it is truly an object flying low, then its BIG.
Now that coupled with the fact its silent, not a chopper or a plane, not a blimp or chinese lantern, makes being a real UFO the most likely candidate, now doesnt it?

I think so.

I'm a liar and a hoaxer? LOL your logic is astonishing. You're calling me a hoaxer now, does that make you one aswell?

Oh, somehow you've ascertained the reality or non-reality of him being a pilot from your limited exchanges here on ATS? You got all of that from him telling you that the Gilliand ranch is legitimate?

Well, you were able to label me as a hoaxer and a liar from a single post simply because I have doubts about the video.

I'm labelling you as a hipocrite. Good job there and thanks for making this so easy for me!
