I find it curious that the 1870 photo from Mt Washington brought only $385 on ebay, you know, it being proof of alien visitation and all.

BTW- Are you really serious about it being 'hard' to manipulate photos back then? That 'UFO' looks like it could have been scratched onto the plate!

I just want to mention that the first stereo images in your post, which is often called "the world's oldest UFO picture" does not show a flying object in the clouds. What is shows is actually an object lying in the snow.

It is part of a collection called "Views Taken On The Summit Of Mt. Washington During The Winter Of 1870 - 71", and the stereo pair is listed as number 17 here:

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/3bca37301e5c.jpg[/atsimg]

This is the famous number 17, described in the list above as showing "Frost architecture":

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/e31c8101f0d9.jpg[/atsimg]

Source

The dark, rectangular object lying in the snow is probably a wooden folding ruler, and it was most likely placed there to show the scale and size of this particular piece of "frost architecture" on Mount Washington.

Thanks for that post.

$385 seems about right for the photo now!

Why come on this website if you are close minded? Honestly, that is probably a very dumb mistake. Not to mention, most of the evidence would be covered up by the government(s). But go ahead and say nobody is right. Someday when you see something, nobody will have a reason to believe you, as you seem to have no reason to believe anybody else.

Hi LuckyMe,

I am not sure who you are referring your post to, just curious.

Yes, You could say the same about the zodiac, the occult, Illuminati, the supernatural, paranormal, ghosts, Atlantis, heaven, gravity or evolution.
Prove any of them.

These photos are convincing evidence out there in public access. I do not deny this, but the huge concrete proof that you need to actually prove to the whole world that Aliens exist would have to be extensive concrete hard core proof that could only come as the whole presence of Aliens themselves or maybe from the Pres. himself. Which is the decision of the higher Government. They want firm control over disclosure of et's existence. Just pictures and videos are not going to be enough. I guess the decision of enough evidence to convince OldDragger is his own but for all mankind to believe, the proof will have to something huge which will only come when the governing systems want it to be.

INFORMATION REGARDING EVIDENCE OF CROP CIRCLES TAKEN FROM AN EMAIL RESPONSE SENT TO ME RECENTLY. VERY INFORMATIVE.

Many thanks for your kind enquiry, which was forwarded to me by Linda Howe! Yes, Clifton could be a description of the July 11 solar eclipse, but no good aerial or ground photos of it were obtained, so we were reluctant to comment formally.

A somewhat more reliable “eclipse” crop picture appeared on July 10 at Guys Cliffe (www.cropcircleconnector.com...). We also posted new analyses last night for Suttons Bank of July 5 (www.cropcircleconnector.com...) and Savernake Forest of June 23 (www.cropcircleconnector.com...).

We originally supposed that Savernake Forest might predict bright auroras on Earth during the lunar eclipse of June 26, but nothing of that kind really happened. Then yesterday, I read where the “brightest x-ray burst ever recorded” had disabled the Swift satellite on June 21, just two days before Savernake Forest . And a photo of that deep space x-ray burst certainly seems to resemble the S.F. crop picture, including “distorted spacetime gridlines” near an exploding star. So we had to change our minds concerning that one!

No human fakers could possibly have known, because the x-ray burst was observed on June 21, the crop picture on June 23, yet public notice of the event was not released until July 12. My old friend from Caltech is in charge of that satellite; his dad was a famous astronomer too! Thus in summary, all three of those recent crop pictures show clear astronomical symbolisms:

June 23 Savernake Forest : a great x-ray burst from deep space

July 5 Sutton Bank: a rare planetary-star alignment in the west after sunset

July 10 Guys Cliffe: a total solar eclipse on July 11

(July 12 Clifton : a total solar eclipse?)

as do many other crop pictures from the summer of 2010, or indeed the whole history of this phenomenon (www.cropcircleconnector.com...).

“There is just so much going on, and someone has to put this all together, and there is no one better than you. What do you think they are really trying to tell us in a general sense from your years of research? Your opinion would mean so much to me. Thank you for dedicating your life to finding the truth as the rest of the world sleeps. There are people out there that really care. I just wish everyone would start paying attention. I am just so confused in trying to put it all together.”

Yes indeed: truer words have never been written! Well, despite years of careful study, we still do not really know who might be designing all of those amazing crop pictures each summer, and placing them silently in fields across England or Europe (mainly). Linda, Mike and I have been discussing whether they might come from the spirit world or human afterlife? Another plausible and not exclusive hypothesis would cite extra-terrestrials. Yet as you say, “the rest of the world sleeps”.

Why is that? Personally I can see two reasons.

First, the mainstream media have continuously lied about the true nature of “crop circles” since 1990, when they set up Colin Andrews for a fake, and when they planted a false “Doug and Dave” story worldwide. So someone in power must certainly be afraid of what modern crop pictures represent, and the forces who make them?

Secondly, in the absence of official scientific involvement, and clear censorship of subject in all academic peer-reviewed journals (see for example the pdf file attached), this subject has attracted a wide variety of “New Age” followers, which is good in some respects. Yet a certain proportion of those are very much “out on the fringe” in terms of intellectual or logical abilities. So when hard scientists see what kind of strange people follow the field, they want to get involved even less!

Linda has been studying crop pictures far longer than me or Mike or Marina. She wrote several great books about them in the 1990’s, long before I became involved in 2002, Mike in 2008, or Marina at about the same time.

Those crop pictures are also telling us something important about December 2012 and the ancient Mayans, but we are still not sure what exactly. One can only conclude from this that the mysterious “crop artists” do not currently want to be “known”! Yet hopefully matters will become more clear as we approach December 2012 (only two and one-half years to go). So let’s all be patient, and wait to see what happens next?

They can also see into the future, for example by making two “BP oil spill” crop pictures in 2007 at Martinsell or Hinton Down. I went into their Martinsell picture, but had no idea what it meant at the time. So we have no choice but to wait and watch, and try to learn all aspects of the pictorial language which they are using?

Many thanks once again, Andrew, for your clear and interested enquiry! If you wish to learn more, you can join Mark Fussell’s Crop Circle Connector website for a small price, and get complete access to the Archives 1985-2009, plus instant updates by email whenever a new crop picture appears. One can also usefully join Linda’s Earthfiles website, where one can access more complete analyses of crop pictures including field reports, eyewitnesses, etc. over many years as well.

Best wishes, Red Collie in Sydney (plus Mike and Marina)

Here is maybe the best evidence I can find that we've been visited. Not photographs, but testimony from NASA astronauts. Not a couple of them, but 10 astronauts who went on record as to what they saw. So what now, are we going to call all of these men liars? Are they pshychopaths?

Source: www.syti.net...

Major Gordon Cooper- "And according to a taped interview by J. L. Ferrando, Major Cooper said: "For many years I have lived with a secret, in a secrecy imposed on all specialists in astronautics. I can now reveal that every day, in the USA, our radar instruments capture objects of form and composition unknown to us. And there are thousands of witness reports and a quantity of documents to prove this, but nobody wants to make them public. Why? Because authority is afraid that people may think of God knows what kind of horrible invaders. So the password still is: We have to avoid panic by all means."

Donald Slayton - "Donald Slayton, a Mercury astronaut, revealed in an interview he had seen UFOs in 1951"

Major Robert White - On July 17, 1962 Major Robert White reported a UFO during his fifty-eight-mile high flight of an X-15. Major White reported: "I have no idea what it could be. It was grayish in color and about thrity to forty feet away."

Joseph A. Walker - "On May 11, 1962 NASA pilot Joseph Walker said that one of his tasks was to detect UFOs during his X-15 flights. He had filmed five or six UFOs during his record breaking fifty-mile-high flight in April, 1962. It was the second time he had filmed UFOs in flight. During a lecture at the Second National Conference on the Peaceful Uses of Space Research in Seattle, Washigton he said: "I don't feel like speculating about them. All I know is what appeared on the film which was developed after the flight." - Joseph Walker To date none of those films has been released to the public for viewing"

Commander Eugene Cernan - Eugene Cernan was commander of Apollo 17. In a Los Angeles Times article in 1973 he said, about UFOs: "...I've been asked (about UFOs) and I've said publicly I thought they (UFOs) were somebody else, some other civilization."

Ed White & James McDivitt - In June 1965, astronauts Ed White (first American to walk in space) and James McDivitt were passing over Hawaii in a Gemini spacecraft when they saw a weird-looking metallic object. The UFO had long arms sticking out of it.

James Lovell and Frank Borman - In December 1965, Gemini astronauts James Lovell and Frank Borman also saw a UFO during their second orbit of their record-breaking 14 day flight. Borman reported that he saw an unidentified spacecraft some distance from their capsule. Gemini Control, at Cape Kennedy told him that he was seeing the final stage of their own Titan booster rocket. Borman confirmed that he could see the booster rocket all right, but that he could also see something completely different.

Neil Armstrong & Edwin Aldrin - During the Apollo 11 mission:

NASA: Whats there?
Mission Control calling Apollo 11...

Apollo11: These "Babies" are huge, Sir! Enormous!
OH MY GOD! You wouldn't believe it!
I'm telling you there are other spacecraft out there,
Lined up on the far side of the crater edge!
They're on the Moon watching us!

Also - According to a Dr. Vladimir Azhazha: "Neil Armstrong relayed the message to Mission Control that two large, mysterious objects were watching them after having landed near the moon module. But this message was never heard by the public - because NASA censored it."

Maurice Chatelain - In 1979 Maurice Chatelain, former chief of NASA Communications Systems confirmed that Armstrong had indeed reported seeing two UFOs on the rim of a crater.

Scott Carpenter - "At no time, when the astronauts were in space were they alone: there was a constant surveillance by UFOs."

That site is dubious (as has been pointed out ALREADY in another thread here, when this same source was posted). But, this little snippet is the smoking gun of lack of authenticity, and casts doubt on the entire thing, and its obvious bias:

Neil Armstrong & Edwin Aldrin - During the Apollo 11 mission:

NASA: Whats there?
Mission Control calling Apollo 11...

Apollo11: These "Babies" are huge, Sir! Enormous!
OH MY GOD! You wouldn't believe it!

That old chestnut has floated around the Internet for many years.

People!! Communications between CapCom and the astronauts do NOT include conversations like:

"Mission Control calling Apollo 11... "

That kind of B-Movie dialogue belongs soley in Hollywood in...well, B-Movies!!

It is all crap, the entire thing.

(Except...Ed Mitchell IS interested in ETs and UFOs. He never personally saw one, he says he's talked to somebody who has, though..That's the extent of his personal involvement).

Seriously, that's what you're using to debunk the entire list - a misspoken phrase to call Apollo 11?

And even if that one incident was made up, how does it explain all of the others?

Yes, I know your list has a few different ones. But they are all the same; personal opinions, out of context statements, and completely unsubstantiated claims.

Why do they have to be lying and/or psychopaths? Why can't they just be mistaken or taken out of context by listeners?

Could it be they were talking about something else, or saw something that they couldn't identify at that moment (when the quote was taken) and later identified it? No, they must have been lying like an evil bastard, or hopelessly deranged. There is no middle ground here.

Edit: Oh yeah, or else it was definitely aliens.

Looks like this is the end of this thread.

What I would suggest to people who want concrete proof by actual physically seeing a ufo yourselves is start talking to the night shift at your local police department. Drop down your name and number and ask them to call you the for the next ufo siting. Believe me they have seen ufos. Where I live we have sitings all the time, a little town population of 330 people or something in this range of populous and you would not believe all the reports the police department actually receives. Does not help that there is a reported UFO base just down the highway and the police will not talk about this. They clam up and say they will not talk about that place. But if you say you are interested in ufo and ask if they would like to talk about ufos unofficially you might be surprise the information you can gather from them.

The police in my local town are all good'ol Boys, burly muscle men, some are a little thick about the waist but these guys are tough. Not the kind who you would think would admit to see something like a UFO in a million years. Yet as they sit there in the office they talk about glowing red ufos in the skies, lights that pierce into your car as you are driving on multiple occasions. No not headlights or search light. Lights that come down from a source in the sky that literally blind you for a minute or two. I have witnessed this myself and other ufos. I know a friend who just had this event and ended up in a ditch, very unnerving and shocking to have a piercing light drive into your car in the dead of night out of nowhere. No cars on the road anywhere. And people scoff at ufos and alien races, need proof so go out and get yourself actual proof from a personal upclose encounter yourself.

**Fair warning, seeing an actual UFO event personally is a unnerving and could actually change your life not always to the better either. So just warning you of this.

We have reached the point in UFO evolution where pictures/videos are no longer valid for anything since CGI can do better than the real thing, also since that is all we have had as evidence since back with drawings on walls 4000 years ago all the way up to today as proof we really need to advance to the next step evidence to finally prove that aliens tuely exist.

Without that next step they will forever be in the same category as big foot and fairies.

To the non believers of UFO's and aliens or whatnot...How could you possibly know what the witnesses saw?You couldn't.So stop trying to # on everyone's beliefs! It's rude. You can't possibly know what they saw because you weren't there. But yet you sit here and ridicule people for their beliefs.Weak.
