Hello, one and all

Hey guys. New member, obviously.

I thought I'd join as I have an interest in, well, basically everything paranormal and this seems the best place I've found this far when it comes down to such subjects.

I'm from Scotland, so you'll have to put up with occasional words you've probably never heard and may not understand... I'll try to keep the Scot-speak to an absolute minimum.

I'm one of those people who believe in almost everything. Instead of asking for proof of something existing, I tend to be one of the ones asking for proof of something not existing (strange as it may sound, it does me).

Anyway, hello, greetings, how do you do and any other expected pleasantries. I may not post an awful lot, as I'm more of a reader, but I'll be sure and comment on things from time to time.

Lived in Scotland for 20yrs myself and their are lots of Jocks on ATS so don't worry too much about the lingo.

And of course you are right,

Absence of Evidence does not equal Evidence of Absence, the belief and the doubt both require proof, the true posture of the seeker/scientist is uncertainty/wonder.
Belief and Doubt are veils to the truth.
