No relation. That's one of those perfluorocarbon substitutes, IIRC. This is cultured blood. It's real live blood, just not produced in a critter.

Not the same kind that I am talking about. Artificial limbs as in efficient artificial enhancements for soldiers. Cybernetic replacements built not because of wars effects but FOR war.

I remember reading about this about 6 years back; the Soviets and the US were in a race to make this during the cold war. I think the project was called Blue blood.
Although all tests were unsuccessful the project went underground.
