Yes We Did - Nothing about the 10% Unemployment Rate!

Bring back the manufacturing job base? who said that was going to happen? Neither side ever mentioned that because its simply impossible...sorry, but as a company, if you can get your crap assembled over in X land for 3 bucks a hour verses 25 bucks an hour per employee here...thats what your going to have done..

Can you imagine how crusified a offical would be if he suggested a massive tax on imports? First off, the rest of the world would do the same to us, and all but destroy out export business, but also we would suddenly be looking at bikes at 30k...cars that only a millionare could afford, and our food being a rare commodity. Sorry, but a side effect of globalization is the fact that we rely heavily upon the rest of the world.

I am only concerned about high tech jobs going overseas...you can actually stop that...as far as the old factory workers that no longer have work...well, time to retrain or start up a minimum wage assembly plant to compete with china and mexico

Yes we did brainwash every person who voted me into doing so.

And remember, "A poor man never gave me a job."

And a job won't get you into heaven either, we got to adhere to these christian values as a christian country, don't we?

Lest we be seen as something less than christian.

If a man can't find a job, give him an education.
If a man is hungry, teach him to hunt.
If he is greedy, teach him a lesson.

Here's a fact for you - Politifact doesn't say that the qualifications are for the "stalled" category when tracking Obama's promises. Since there is an "in the works" category it is safe to reason that the promises in the "stalled category" may never get revisited, especially since 245 are "in the works". And some of those "stalled" promises have been stalled since 2009. A promise that never gets resolved and stalls indefinately can be considered "broken" I say. So if you added his broken and "stalled" promises together and weighted those against the promises kept, his promises "stalled" and "broken" add up to 45% of the total promises. Not half bad? Actually, it almost is half bad.

Well, a job will make sure my kids don't go to bed crying because they were hungry. Someone out there has to work, and I stand by my comment about the poor not giving me a job.

Or are we all to be paupers, waiting for a hand out from someone? Sorry, kinda goes against the grain about "singing for my supper".

Obama probably thinks, "Eh, close enough for government work."

That post made me want to vomit! I hope you don't call yourself a person who is not in bed with corporations and the elite, you sorry sack of... just forget it.

Our first step is to introduce Fair Trade, when we introduce that then we will be on more equal footing, not equal enough though. Then the government needs to give funds to each state to create their own state run bank and manufacturing industry, diversify our nation. With the end goal of becoming 90% self sustainable.

If you are more worried about forking out more money on goods than to employ your fellow citizens then you are just unpatriotic, imperialistic and elitist.

The only outside border trading we should be truly involved in is from state to state, not from country to country! This is what we get for ignoring states' rights.

He's so full of himself. Everything he campaigned on, except the socialism, was a lie. The "Yes we can!" reference here is him referring to his popularity he hasn't seen since early 2009. If these politicians were smart, they would tell Obama to stay at the White House, eating his $100 per pound Kobe Beef and being serenaded by Hollywood Leftists. There's a definite trend (from prior primaries) that Obama actually hurts the people he's trying to help. I think its his massive ego and the constant lies.

Is this in reference to Rush Limbaugh's "I hope he fails." statement?

If that is the case then "Yes, we did." fits perfectly.

LMAO! Nice try in trying to twist biblical principles into some sort of Progressive Agenda. Jesus never said a thing about the government forcing its citizens or robbing them to give the guy a fish or even to teach him to fish.

In context what he was saying is that it is better to teach a man to fish than to keep handing him fish and making him dependent on your handing a fish to survive. It was a bit of a parable.

Jesus never said anything about if a man is hungry the government should rob its populice to hand him a fish or to give him a four year fishing degree for free.

Jesus entire point was that it is better to teach a man to stand on his own then to make a man dependent on others.

You know the last time I checked one can always buy a used car and hmmm yep, I had to go make sure the internet and thrifty nickel hadn't evaporated but yep they still sell used motorcycles, bicycles and skateboards, oh yeah you could always car pool with the neighbors, quit making such rediculous claims and blaming everything on someone else. By the way what kind of gas mileage does your suv get anyways, mine 41 and my bike 75 and both go over 140mph so don't be thinking moped here, get real.

Let's see....if I remember correctly, when you play "Yes we can" backwards, it sounds like "Thank you Satan" ...so what does it sound like when you play "Yes we did" backwards?

Inquiring minds want to know!

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — President Barack Obama has a new campaign slogan.

“Yes, we did.”

And it doesn’t stop there. Republicans, an animated Obama argued Thursday, wouldn’t have.

They wouldn’t have set the economy back on track, he said during a fundraiser for Senate candidate Robin Carnahan, or passed a health care overhaul or financial regulatory reform. Giving the GOP control of Congress again — a possibility that Obama acknowledged — would usher in another era of a “you’re on your own philosophy,” he said.

www.politico.com...

Yes we did get people back to work, bring back the manufacturing base, closed the trade imbalance, closed corporate tax loopholes, bring an end to political campaign corruption, brought home the troops, ended a Neoconservative foreign policy, brought peace to the Middle East, created a level business field between small and corporate, lowered the deficit, gave accountable universal health care, ended ‘too big to fail’, tougher regulations on Wall Street, stopped invading our citizens privacy, brought about transparency in government, ended the federal reserve, stopped the elite shadow government, ended the military industrial congressional complex, prosecuted George W. Bush and his cronies, revealed the truth about 9/11 and returned our economy to a sustainable and stable future for strong economic, not corporate, growth.

Oh wait… Never mind. My bad, I just thought he said, “Yes we did!” as in did something good, never mind.

OH good we did?!

How come I haven't heard anything about any of this?

OH wait!!! That's because it has never happened.

How nice it must be to do absolutely nothing but lie and deceive and then be given credit for things that not only never even occurred but actually had the completely opposite policies enforced.

Boy, I can't wait till Obama puts another man on the moon.

What's this, another puppetician who goes around patting himself on the back and lacks the class and honor to allow others be the judge of his performance? Does this guy's audience exclusively consist of imbeciles? Instead of giving speeches on how to save a sinking ship, he's trash talking about how great a job he's doing.

Even if he was doing a great job outside of his own delusional dreams, he should keep it to himself. People who boast and brag about their performance display a lack of character and integrity which is required in a leadership role.

Yes we did just start a Trade War with Mexico by banning their trucks in the United States, against Nafta guidelines. At the same time, Yes we did in the same week sue Arizona over a law to protect themselves that we were unwilling to be active on. Yes we did just make it clear that that the only commerce we want with Mexico is of the illegal kind. Yes we did, one more time make it that more difficult for the economy to recover. Yes we did outright make it clear that the Hispanic vote is far more important than our economy and the security of out border. Yes we did confirm that this strategy has been planned for decades as the only plausible political way to tear down the United States of America! Yes we did, and we will, continue to do, and do, and do. Because yes we did convince you to vote for us!

I don't like what you have to say.

You're so negative with your rhetoric. I want positive feelings and feel good sayings that amount to nothing more than chants.

You don't hear Obama supporters chanting things like facts.

You have to simplify your sayings into short, easily spouted sayings like "No he didn't"

That's the only way we small brained Americans can truly understand complex things like the economy, foreign policy, Constitutional rights, health care reform, etc.

PFFFT to your facts!!!

Don't make me think or do my own research or I'm going to go back to MSNBC or Fox
