The Trent photograph thread throws up an interesting thought. The police now , in Britain anyway, are using mathematical modelling to combat certain
areas of crime. Such thing as "Geographical mapping" of serial killer's crimes and even now a model for sleeper cells within terrorism.
It strikes me that most hoaxers follow a certain path, a certain logic and that, if we were to study a number of them there is no reason a workable
model for hoaxing can;t be arrived at? If nothing else, it would be a real feather in the ATS cap, if someone or some people could come up with a
mathematically modelled frame work for spotting possible hoaxes?
With that in mind are there any on here, who work in that sort of field, or have access and understand the methodology of how to create such a
model?
I'm talking about something which tracks behavioural patterns, rather than simply something that would be used to study specific evidence.
