Ok forgive me if this is the wrong forum i didnt know where to put this.

College student fights crime as superhero
Video: A 20-year-old patrols his Tennessee town as 'The Viper.'

video:

www.msnbc.msn.com...

Although i do not support vigilantism(sp) whatsoever,
I found this amusing.

I for one would get a good laugh if i saw this guy on the "prowl" down mainstreet...

He however is smart enough to patrol downtown in the day light, i wonder when he will step up and handle the crack houses and such...

LOL, can't wait till some guy calling himself "professor mantis" decks the viper and pulls his mask off while laughing maniacally.

Im a firm supporter of vigilantism so long as it is done within reason.

It's illegal... and if ur caught the law is on the victim's side. Something to consider when opting to behave criminally. A little man-to-man talk can go along way in most cases.

Its legality depends on what level you take it to. Beating a rapist cought in the act within an inch of his life would probably not get you in trouble. Killing someone is a different story. Perverted justice and the guardian angels are perfectly legal vigilante groups.

I dont think this guy is in any position to become a real life "Punisher" or "MadDog" .

I liken this guy to the naked cowboy in NYC .. its a creative gag that lightens peoples day imo..

the police are aware of his activity and continue to let him "Patrol".

question for SeeingBlue:

could you elaborate on Who exactly asked what question that led you to believe this would happen?

that's a nice synch, zaigers avatar is from this one book in a trilogy about scary stories, and groingrinders story was in the same book.
