the photo on that website doesnt say who took the picture and it doesnt have a witness statement. The photo is near identical to long exposure shot of helicopters as posted by others.

looks like someone hoaxed the peopledaily.com with a pic of a chopper. Or they dug it up themselves to get hits on their website.

There isnt even any evidence this was taken on the night in question. Wheres the EXIF data? Why dont you question anything?

YOU MUST BE SERIOUS RIGHT!!!! DO YOU EVEN READ MY WHOLE POST?????????

Like I said, I KNOW the OP's picture is not from what happened at the airport. and I also stated that I am surprised that no one has decided to get the EXIF data, my guts are literally hurting right now from how oblivious you are.

READ READ READ READ TILL THE END. So you don't end up looking like a fool. I cannot describe how annoyed I am right now.

Why don't you read till the end before posting dumb posts like you just did

I cannot believe the ignorance on here, I'm fed up.

Considering I've been a contributor to this thread since it first started, I appreciate you insinuating I've been "influenced" by other posts.

Back to the topic on hand though, just because the first image doesn't have a spotlight and there are no noticeable rotors...it's a UFO?

What's funny is that I have no doubt that if the second or third image were used instead of the OP image, we'd be having this same conversation.

Of that I have no doubt.

And yes, I read your post - I don't really see why you want to be the victim.

The article says that it involves the military and they are going to announce what it is today?

It was:

swamp gas, mass hallucinations, reflections from the ground, an airplane that looked strange because it was in the clouds. It was a bird, the planet Venus, the sun, a billboard, glare, the screen of a drive in movie theater, flares, and don't forget ball lightning. It was a helium balloon that a child comandeered, It was a helicopter that you couldn't here because everybody had gone temporarily deaf due to cabin pressure which in turn affected everyone else outside of the airplane, it was secret military testing done in a public place for reasons that the military doesn't even understand.

It was all of these things and more. It was anything, anything at all but what it really was.

Great picture btw!

You can tell it is a blurred moving something. At first I thought it was a long craft, but it is a moving smaller object. It is moving from right to left, and you can see that there is a search light of sorts. To the post that says it is showing through the wires, light travels around, and this bright if light would make it look like an overlap.

It is ridiculous for anyone to call it a blurred image to any great degree. The small, individually visible lights are a absolute sign that blurring is not an issue.

It needs to be point out that frequently blurring is mentioned about UFO images and that effect is attributed to motion bluring by camera or object. In addition, we need to consider that the object is moving in the air--not necessarily using the air for lift, etc.--but being held aloft by some technology we know nothing about. If the term "force field" sounds Star-treky, so be it. Unusual optical, electrical and physical effects are to be expected. To simply dismiss any aspect of UFOs, and their operations because we can't or won't accept what we see, is little different than denying the whole show because it doesn't fit into our personal/governmental paadigm.

Are you all retarded ? or just can't read ?

The picture has nothing to do with the airport story, it SAYS in the chinese article that it could not be seen by the naked eye, only with radar IR, etc.

come on people stop bickering about how it's a helicopter or not, because frankly it doesn't matter in this case. pic is not related.

No worries, I know you are just concerned that something amazing happened and that it will be covered up. I can respect that, I too fear that this will happen with the situation if something incredible actually did happen - the fact that they supposedly attempted to capture the object tells me that this situation was more than ordinary.

No, it doesn't say in the Chinese article it could be seen on IR.

You're statement is false -- innocently so, I'll grant, but that's even worse. You don't even seem to KNOW when you're spouting untruths.

Who's retarded now? Who's part of the problem, not part of the solution?

Use that word cautiously, it has a habit of curling around and biting you back.

We have the location, and the time/date, and two possible directions the airliner crew was flying (either end of the runway) when they reported spotting a UFO over the airport in front of them.

What was in the sky in those directions? Can't you take even the most elementary, obvious investigative steps?

Are you not only useless, but harmful to solving this story?

Can't imagine why there was a Russian spy swap in Vienna

Russian Spy Swap

Let me guess....we did it because of nukes and terrorism
and those dasterdly islamic terrorists that want to eat us along with their humus and goat cheese.

Different picture from a news article, supposedly of the same event:

www.china.org.cn...

A quote from CNN that basically sums up my feelings on the subject, "Hangzhou authorities have come out saying that what people (and airport officials) reported seeing might have been sunlight reflected from regular airplanes. Were not saying we think little green men landed -- why choose China when Thai beaches are so close by? -- but really, a reflection from an airplane shut down an airport? They should come up with a better excuse than that."

That looks more like a UCO (unidentified crashing object) to me. Yet another picture of the supposed object, can we be sure this is an accurate picture of the object?

A little harsh, dontcha think?

Annoyance, maybe... but hate? You've never even met this person. If all it takes to earn your hatred is failing to read an entire thread, then you must be livid 24/7.

Wow. Amazing. There is ZERO ZERO proof of those pictures being a helicopter.

I Think after the original breaking news thread, This one is the DISINFORMATION one, just take a look at the posters on this thread.

That being said, The disinformation campaign is well underway with media playing a huge part in this. We will never get to the bottom of this.

Only Phage, Chadwickus, Jim Oberg and the rest of the click will, influencing others along the way.

Hey that's the game, you're knee deep in it at the moment. Welcome to it. Play Hard.

Agreed, for example look at the sun news article, same pic (helicopter) I bet they'll probably end up saying it was a helicopter.

Give it up. If you aren't ready to bicker about a picture (not even pertaining to the event in question) or a vague Chinese article....you won't be noticed. The more time that I spend reading some of the mindless drivel here makes me understand even more clearly....just come up with some BS story to justify shutting down an airport, plus throw in a few unrelated pics and the promise of a military excuse....you'd be able to bring anything into that airport while everyone's distracted with arguing whether it's a helicopter or not, or whether it was actually not even visible except on radar. This could work out to be one of the best diversionary episodes ever.

Wow. I can see now why some people think that the picture looks like a long-exposure shot of a helicopter.

Perhaps this is actually a shot of a helicopter that somebody (unscrupulously) submitted as a picture of the UFO? I haven't had a chance to watch the video yet (I can't from here) but maybe it shows more.

I still fail to understand though why the helicopter was not picked up by ATC first and why it was not identified by a transponder.

So, are we now going with the idea that an entire airport shut down their operations due to an unidentified "helicopter?"

It gets better and better in here.

Namaste and Love

I think Chadwicks and others are just pointing out what is in the picture.

They're not saying that is a picture of the actual UFO that was reported or seen around the airport. No one knows that.

Also many have already said, the pic and video do NOT look the same at all.

I'm gonna have to say the picture is a hoax,(someone just haveing fun useing an old pic and attaching it to a new story) and not a picture of the actual UFO involved in the event that took place near the airport.

Why didn't they show that picture on the newscast? Cause it's obviously a helicopter taken at long exposure, and most likelt has NOTHING to do with what happened at the Airport.

Besides that the picture is taken on a normal street, not anywhere near a large airport.

I don't see where it says that picture is part of this event.

When there's a lack of photographic evidence, media will often use stock footage to compliment their articles.

Or hey, how about a complete jump off the ledge here, and let's say that the image provided by The Sun and the object that caused all the ruckus at the airport are two different things completely.

Shock. Gasp.

That's what I, and the majority of the people contributing to this thread, have been trying to make the point on all along.
