Giant propeller structures seen in Saturn's rings
May have been created by class of hidden moons, NASA says

Giant propeller-shaped structures have been discovered in the rings of Saturn and appear to be created by a new class of hidden moons, NASA announced Thursday.

NASA's Cassini spacecraft spotted the distinctive structures inside some of Saturn's rings, marking the first time scientists have managed to track the orbits of individual objects from within a debris disk like the one that makes up Saturn's complicated ring system.

"Observing the motions of these disk-embedded objects provides a rare opportunity to gauge how the planets grew from, and interacted with, the disk of material surrounding the early sun," said the study's co-author Carolyn Porco, one of the lead researchers on the Cassini imaging team based at the Space Science Institute in Boulder, Colo. "It allows us a glimpse into how the solar system ended up looking the way it does."

Photos of the propellers taken by Cassini show them to be huge structures several thousands of miles long. By understanding how they form, astronomers hope to glean insight into the debris disks around other stars as well, researchers said.

The results of the study are detailed in the July 8 issue of the journal Astrophysical Journal Letters.

That's rather interesting, thanks.
The photos from the link don't seem to load right, I did manage to recover two of them (don't know if there are more):

I see correlation with the amount of anomalies that occur in and around Saturn's Rings. Might even be an explanation for some of those.
There's an interesting thread on the Saturn anomalies, although in a less orthodox scientific realm.

Looks rather similar to some phenomena I noticed when playing around with the 'fluid attractor' demo of PhysX - the 'planet' that you can spin around and sling the little particles out into 'orbit.'

By no means a completely comprehensive gravity simulator - but still similar enough to get the idea.

Saturn alreay has at least 50 moons, isn't that enough?

We could always try some "social justice" and "redistributed wealth" and give other planets some extra needed moons

according to the "collins dictionary of astronomy" 2006 edition, they're 47 moons but cassini probably discovered a few more by now.

anything Saturn is interesting

great find s&f

Please check out 'The ringmakers of saturn ' which clearly shows moving objects UFO in rings of saturn.

It alsow shows that there are energy spacecrafts which move in and move out of saturn.

Coming to rings it may be a artificial projection similair to our HAARP .

But we need not worry about anything because we are more strong than anything else .

This information is nice to know but not intimidating.

Beaware of false flag operation which may come to discredit this info .

Obviously those are intergalactic space plan propellers, most likely left over from when the alpha centurions were habituating this solar system to mine for fluoride in the rings of Saturn. They don't need any of their advanced tech. to travel such a short distance, so space planes pretty much covers that.

They must have left them behind when the transport shipped showed up to gather the mined fluoride, and the workers since it's really a logistics problem of taking the propellers back in the transport ships.

That is true. The cost of returning with the propellers would have seen the fluoride profits eaten up and although the propellers were extremely expensive to manufacture the alpha centurions had no other choice other than leaving them behind. It is hoped that a intergalactic family of Gypsy's will be able to break them up and sell them for scrap.

interesting find but old news i am afraid.
a guy named jim mc canney predicted this phenomena long before any sattelites were anywhere near saturn in the year 1981.

McCanney, J. M. Moon and the Planets, vol. 24, May 1981, p. 349-353. Historic and recent observations suggest the presence of at least six small dense and probably electrically charged moons which effectively sweep the Saturnian ring matter from the gaps. The detection of non-Keplerian moons in the gaps will imply the existence of a proton wind and associated positive hydrogen ion cloud in the vicinity of Saturn, providing the evidence that sustained electric fields exists in the cosmos. The concept of an asteroid-like nucleus moving at high speed through the solar wind as a plausible explanation for comet behavior will be supported by the existence of the predicted sweeper moons, as they exhibit the same characteristics.

Abstract The recent observation of the absorption of radiation belts in the vicinity of Saturn's bright rings and historical observations of the ring system make the following related results apparent: # -The gaps in the rings are caused by the presence of at least 6 small, extremely dense and probably electrically charged 'sweeper' moons which effectively sweep the ring matter clean from the gaps. This is known due to the fading of the inner ring edges whereas the outer edges we well defined. Their orbital periods will differ from the expected Keplerian periods if the moons and Saturn do possess electric fields. # - Absorption of radiation belts near the rings (of Jupiter also) implies that the ring particles themselves are not absorbing the radiation but the small moons are. This is consistent with the observed radiation belt absorption near the outer Saturnian moons. # -If electric fields of the sweeper moons cause the ring edge fading as observed (and not simply gravitational), than Saturn itself must maintain an electric field in its vicinity by way of a sizeable proton wind to affect the uneven ring edge fading and will be surrounded by an H+ cloud at least to approximately the A-ring. This is consistent with the detection of an H+ cloud surrounding Saturn (Weiser et aL, 1977, p. 755). The other possibility is that these moons are extremely dense and have very huge internal magnetic fields. # -Because of their location, these moons must be captured and if very dense as believed, may be core remnants of a nova.
