It's usually better to 'listen' at first than to 'speak' - usually. But you will find it very hard NOT to throw your opinion into the mix. It's a vicious circle, but well worth it.

Here's the great thing about ATS -- it may seem over-your-head now, but I guarantee if you spend some time reading various threads on topics that you enjoy, you will learn a lot. And want to know even more....it's actually rather addictive I think.
