Big burgers 'damage jaws', say dentists in Taiwan

news.bbc.co.uk

Fast food restaurants in Taiwan have been urged to drop big burgers from their menus amid a growing number of jaw injuries, according to a report.

Patients have had difficulty opening their mouths after munching giant burgers said Professor Hsu Ming-lung...

Problems can arise when tucking into burgers higher than 8cm (3ins)...

Hamburger-related injuries are on the rise, he warned.

He called on fast food restaurants to limit the size of their hamburgers...

'Turns out fast food really isn't safe! Can you imagine the potential for litigation? Could this be the end of the BigMac as we know it?

Or should we just use a ruler before paying for our meal?

"Would you like anything else, sir?"

"I could sure use a tape measure..."

Im sorry but regardless of what they say ill still eat a 4x4 animal style any day!

For those of you not in California or Arizona and I think Las Vegas has one I am sorry that you do not have an IN-N-OUT burger available near you. It is the best ever now that im thinking about it im gonna get me one for lunch today with some animal fries too!

Here is the 4x4 animal style.

Animal Fries

Animal fries are there one of a kind fries with Melted cheese, Spread(Thousand Island Dressing) and grilled onions.

The 4X4 is four patties and four slices of cheese Animalstyle mean EVERYTHING ON IT doesnt it look amazing in all its glory!!! You can order any size burger here for example the 98X98!

OMG im so hungry now!

I hear they have a special side-room for those who struggle to cope:

All those sauces and cheese are perfect for hiding a tasteless grain filled meatless burger in the mix.

Ah yes the good ol' American cheeseburger in all it's glory. Yes it is bad for you. Yes it is a heart attack on a bun.

But,

It is also succulent and delicious. It might hurt your jaw but pain has never tasted so good. You will treasure every wonderful bite of this I am sure.

Yes it's bad for you and might cause some jaw injuries but really how can you resist?

(yes that is an onion ring with bacon and cheese on a massive patty of beef)

This is the thurmanator named after Arnold Swartzenegger when he visits Columbus, Ohio for the Arnold Classic Bodybuilding Comp every year. They make it at The Thurman Cafe

The Thurman Cafe

The Thurman-ator- Can you do it? Try it…….you’ll be back
The scene: Bun, mayo, lettuce, tomato, pickle, hot pepper, 12 ounce burger, bacon,
cheddar, another 12 oz burger, sautéed onion, mushroom, , ham, American and
provolone cheese, top bun and served with fries 16.49

********************

I've eaten the Thurman burger but never tried a Thurmanator

Well you know the saying... In Texas everything is bigger. At Big Bob's BBQ and Mexican Grill they have a cheese burger that is up to 83lbs!!

Big Bob's Texas Belt Buster Cheeseburger

Even if you don't go for something that massive there are so many hamburger joints around and the beef is as fresh as possible.

This is why Shaggy and Scooby always smooshed their giant sandwiches down before they ate it.

If Taiwan is having this much trouble with burgers it's a good thing they don't have giant Jawbreakers candy.

Technically, you could avoid injury by training and practice so your body is ready for it when the time comes.

I hear White Castle is going to target Taiwan, maybe this is prat of a smear campaign against other bruger joints.

In all seriousness, this is propably the most humorous thing I've read all day.

Well this just goes to prove what I've thought all along. We in the west have bigger mouths.

Edit: Btw, it doesn't get better than a double Whopper with everything and extra pickle.

Your first link of the image brings up an alert with Norton Internet security.

It's Norton's newest feature, flagging links to potentially harmful food items.
