Captured Russian Spies possibly working with British?

An interesting take on this whole situation was given during an interview with a Simon Fraser University Intelligence Expert and his take on this was that these 10 or so spies that were arrested were sent there for the sole purpose of exposing and evaluating US counter-intel operations. They were very amateur according to him and that did not indicate that these were high level operatives.

And they said the Cold War was over. I don't think it ever skipped a beat, just different faces to the players.
