oh its more than hate my friend of the CCTV.
i see it for what it really is just a waste of taxpayers money
and to monitor us.i dont like the idea of a big brother state
which we have.1984 anybody.

i dont think i need to write a thread about the subject but
if it offends you when i mention the letters CCTV well sorry.

people know my stance on one's own privacy and how it
is being abused.

I hate all this we live in a Orwellian state rubbish we don’t. CCTV fights crime, in my home town our high street was plagued at night with crime and anti-social behaviour. The local council put up CCTV and guess what no more crime. One of my close friends was saved by CCTV on a night out when he was attacked by a group of youths, it was spotted by a CCTV operator and they all got arrested. If it saves lives and it does then it is not a waste of tax payers money. For the record i also support a full DNA database however i am strongly against ID cards.

In any case it does not matter it is not the point of this thread. This thread is about whats going on with this gunman.

Yep... has he blown his own head off??

Only one shot apparently.... but unless they were replaying it, I heard another shot as the guy said He'll listen for more??

Hmmmmm

Yeah I think he's shot himself... One shot seems to say that right?

I would imagine so, if it was the police i would imagine we would have heard more shots. Hard to say right now.

See as I said up there, I thought there was another shot too?

The guy on Sky is saying the same thing, he thought he heard two?

Hmmmm.... weird.

If it was one.... he did himself, If two, then he shot at them and they shot back once, in the head...

Well time will tell.

I've really gotta go to bed man, soooo tired

Woaah.... so the eyewitness is saying that cops surrounded him and jumped on him?

Perhaps he tried to shoot one as they jumped him??

This is annoying man, wish they'd just say....

According to BBC he’s been taken away in a ambulance. Unclear yet if he is alive or dead.

Yep, Hopefully this has ended without any fatalities and no police were injured either.

Best result all round really.

The press will descend upon the major Newcastle hospitals now....

Now all they have to worry about are the Moat supporters hanging about.

They are in a convoy heading towards Newcastle so they shouldn't be too hard to spot. Let's hope Gazza doesn't try a rescue attempt.
