Actually, the African Union and South American Union are both heavily financed by western economies and Dependant on it. So you can count them out,
seeing as they have their own issues to deal with.
And as a citizen of this so called empire, I rarely hear much about Iran. Fox news is too busy bashing Obama and the rest are in the gulf. There's
been an almost dead story on Iran for the past few months.
Next point would be that Iran would be a hard war. The US is currently in over 20 nations actively engaging a war across the world. It also has a crap
ton of military deals to much of the world to sell its current military off.
Since 2008 onto 2016, the US is upgrading its military. last time this happened in the late 80s, it was a fire sale. We see the results of this in the
fact that Iran has those sell offs, as does most nations in the middle east.
You can bet your arse that anybody wanting to show off wants their hands on outdated Abrams and Bradley IFVs. So they won't so anything to get a hold
on that technology.
back to what I said, the US is in over 20 nations in the war on terror. So iran would not exactly be adding to the bunch.
This, btw, is known as the Bush-Obama secret war.
Anywho, Iran would not actually be invaded. It would be a redo of the first gulf war. Effectively, mainly an air war, with some limited troop entry on
the borders. We would leave sooner than we entered.
You see, for all things considered, Iran is fine and dandy. They like our aid that we pay to them (until these most recent sanctions), and they sell
oil to whoever wants it. No problem here. the P5+1 simply do not want more nuclear missiles out there.
That's really the only point to any assault. Take out the research facilities, then leave.
No one wants to occupy a nation that's never been conquered in over 3000 years. That would be called retarded.
Any war or military actions would be just that, a war. And it would not last more than 3 weeks.
Then we go down 2 roads., Either Iran goes the way of N Korea and shuts itself off from the world, or goes the way of post-war 1950 Japan, and becomes
a thriving economic powerhouse.
Logic dictates the Japan direction because the people are already free. There is no way to turn a free people into a N Kora style dictatorship. Once
people have freedom, they will not let it go.
Thus what we are looking at is a future Japan essentially. Only it won;t have a fail economy because unlike Japan, Iran has more than tourism to sell
to the world.

Russia collapsed and had a 5 finger discount. So any Russian with a gun could shoot the guards and get all the Aks he could want, then sell.
America traditionally sells its military hardware off every 20-40 years. The last time this happened was late 1980s. The US is once again upgrading
its military and selling off the old to her allies. So anybody willing to buy can get them.
It does not make sense because it is illogical. I suppose if they didn't sell their military hardware, they would have no one to fight 20 years down
the road?
