Oil and Dead Sealife Found on Ormond Beach, FL

I've been to Flagler Beach almost every day of the week for a while now. Except for today. I have been scrutinizing the surf and I can tell you first hand that I see no evidence of anything yet. The beach is always full of people and lifeguards are on duty. Things don't seem that bad to me but I am watching, believe me.

Glad everything is well up in Flagler, I've been to the beach up there many times as well. The beaches here are still packed with people and all, I didn't mean to imply that no one was going Its just that everyone I know is very worried about the possibilities of the beach becoming ruined in the near future

I hear that! This whole thing has me really worried. I know if it makes its way to the East Coast of Florida then more than likely it will go further north along the coast.

I remember way back in April when this first started that someone made a post about them depopulating the entire East coast. That stuck with me. So I'm always watching.

Well, for what its worth....I live in Ormond Beach and was surfing there, and at Ponce Inlet, all weekend but didn't see any oil.

i find it difficult to tell from the one photo if that whale is covered in oil. the writer seems to be speculating, especially since he provides links to other stories that dont show whales with oil either.
