Bottom one is ice crystals
Top one is man-made
Second one may be a thought form vessel projected by either off world entities or mass human consciousness - the latter happens quite often.
Third is man-made
Fourth is water droplets

(Off world entities, if they get through the quarantine were either allowed to do so for benevolent purposes or got through by extreme improbabilities.)

I agree with your point and to be honest they are pretty bad fakes!

Especially the reflection!...

Starred and Flagged.

I'm all about daytime vid sightings and witness statements myself - image manipulation is very sophisticated nowdays and can't be trusted at all.

I don't believe he is "aiming" to do these things just that unfortunately it is seeming that way.
I am sure his post is honourable in it's intentions but the fact is that it could be clogging up the already clogged UFO information highway even more so my fear is that the opposite will be achieved.

If he wanted to educate people new in this field then this is not really the place to do it.

It's the perfect place to do it. There is no other place.

If of course there was a disclaimer stating: "Please don't join the forum unless you already have extensive ufo knowledge. NO BEGINNERS PLEASE." Then I would agree with you.

People with differing levels of knowledge come here to learn, let's continue to make it a place where this happens... on levels, from novice to expert.

I think this is a healthy topic but I would go one further. Of course there are people who will fake for their own purposes, whether it be kudos, money, whatever. There are also those that will be presented with something that doesn't look as they expect and so make assumptions based on their own belief systems.

Esoteric Teacher earlier in this thread had a little montage of images of paintings, figurines and other works of art, all of whom some people believe give proof that sentient life from elsewhere has been here in the past before photgraphy existed - none (we think) are fake, but perception and context is everything. Without a knowledge of a particular custom (please don't say Stichin) we only can assume based on our own mindset or bias.

The bishops hat next to Christ on the throne - must be a UFO, even though there are many other paintings of the time showing similar imagery but in more revealing detail.

The pictures showing the virgin Mary having communication with God (can't remember off top of my head if it represents the feast of the anunciation) depicted as a beam of light through a hole in the sky, must be a UFO, but again commonly represented.

I think this thread should send a message to people to give pause, look at what they really see and balance it in context.

Not expecting many to agree with me though...

people need to forget this attempt to try to prove alien presence with UFOs

1 - they can all be faked in a way you would never know
2 - if they are real, they are probably ours
3 - you wont be able to prove with a picture .... NEVER

people need to focus on the cover up and other aspects of the problem instead of this "guess science" ...

for the people new in the UFOs subjects, they might find amazing to see all those pics, but anyone that follow the subject for some time, you will notice that its not smart to try to chase these pictures

Made by you? Thanks for wasting everyones time. Just because you made them does not mean UFO's don't exist. You have obviously never seen a real UFO. So, when you are ready to be a productive part of this debate then let me know.

When did the OP say that UFOs do not exist?

I seem to have missed that so I would appreciate it if you would show me.

I admit that if the thread is 5 or 6 pages long I may not read every post in the thread before replying, though often I try, I always try to read the entire OP before replying.

I highly recommend others do that too, but alas, it appears that some people don't even read to the end of the OP before replying, amazing.

I'll try and explain these sightings in number order:

1. Looks like a bird but the most interesting.

2.Could be a camera artificate as back in those days it took hours to take a photo.

3. That one looks exactly like this one from Zdany, Poland which looks like two bowls were stuck or welded together and thrown, reference:

www.ufoevidence.org...

4. Looks like a water droplet on the lens

5. Looks like a small crack in the window

Thats my explanations of these anyway

This thread is like the Emperors new clothes, some people think they are dressed to attend the ball, in reality though they are naked for all to see.

I dunno about all that. I seen the emperor myself and he looked less than dressed so until I see receipts I am calling bunk on your post that I only kind of read half of and did not really think about.

Thank you for taking the time to read my thread. I hope some of you will be more weary when deciding if UFO images are legit or false.

Thanks, Zomar! Before this thread, we were all total believers in photographic data pertaining to UFO's. We all thought that photos were impossible to manipulate! Now that we have your authentic and original thread to save us from utter ignorance, ATS can finally thrive.

P.S. When you're ready to learn Photoshop, hit me up.

holy crap! silly me who thought star wars was a documentary !!!

no really, i mean, there are a whole lot of fakes, we all know that well i think...
some are well done, some less, and the well done ones are hard to spot, and we all know that too....
some guys in this forum are real top experts in special effects, some amateurs, so i guess this is the name of the game...

i also think that some pics and movies couldn't be proved fake... does it make 'em real...? maybe, or maybe not, i guess that's the reason we're all here, to see if we can find a speck of truth, another piece of this big complex puzzle....

i had sightings myself, i had close military friends who are pilots that told me about their sightings, and i have my own opinion, I'm here to see if we can prove it to the rest of the world.... and wake everybody up

cheers

Yeah, or just try to read the entire first page to see how things are panning out in the thread.

This is a real heads up to attention spans and how much some people actually take heed of their surroundings. There's a lesson in this.

ok I'll concede, this is probably the only place now that i've thought more about it. it just makes me uneasy knowing that a lot of people on here do not read the whole post so posting faked images can be misconstrued.

Respect my friend, I hope all is well in your world.

The Heflin photos were debunked as the photographers friend throwing a hubcap across the road I believe. And why is he sitting on the road idle?

But as for the 2nd set of images with the boy on the ladder. I'm not sure what you're seeing...

[edit on 6-7-2010 by The_Zomar]

If you've read the case of Heflin you know that he stopped his truck when he saw the UFO hovering nearby. Also, when were the photos ever debunked? The thing about the Heflin photos that couldn't be explained away was how the ground below the object was visibly disturbed. If you look the photo you can clearly see the dust from the ground directly under the object is flying up everywhere. That doesn't happen just by throwing a hubcap in the air.

Also, this from NICAP.ORG:

The photos were examined by UPI (United Press International) photographic specialists, who also took test photos with the same equipment. They pronounced the photos genuine.

The site says the whereabouts of the photos are unknown, although this site says they were bought by a UFO researcher named Ann Druffell.

You know what? The text in a post that contains images on a UFO forum should only be there to provide context of the sighting - location, time of day, and other information. This forum exists for one purpose and that is to discuss UFO's and ET's. That ATS supposedly highly values integrity sets an expectation that this venue is a place of serious discussion and not for childish pranks. All this thread does is seek to make fools of anyone who does what this thread is supposed to do - which is discuss pictures being posted.
