What an awesome story thank you! I'm willing to bet that the experience is one the child will look back on as he grows up as a positive experience, that had a positive impact on his life.

I thought that it was going to end with the officer falling in love with the mother and becoming the boys father and all of them living happily ever after. Good story, S & F. Cops like this are far and few in between.
