it would help to know how many people used their parrots to try and predict this. depending on the answer it would be likely for at least 1 parrot to be correct

As for the finals? I cant see how germany wouldn't be in there... they have played some awesome ball this World Cup. I am Dutch but I dont have my hopes up for the Netherlands to be there. Germany VS Spain perhaps?

Ya know.. We got a chicken down here at the casino that plays tic tac toe... he aint been beat yet.

Hmmm, so he predicted 4 correct results out of 4 for the quarter finals.

Each one with 1/2 chance of being correct, and 1/16 chance of getting all 4 right.

Therefore well within the realms of chance, as there's more than 16 parrots and at least 1 are bound to guess correct!

exactly my thoughts... Altough having a parrot guess the semi-finals correct would definetely make my friends bow in awe at my magnificence (or the parrot's)

What if he gets correct for the semi-finals? Though i've placed betting money on germany-holland to meet in finals so he better be wrong haha.

Im placin my hopes on Uruguay. If they lose then hopefully the netherlands will win.

Waddya know, its in the news and Paul the Octopus predicts spain to win germany like the parrot!

The coincidence is kind of creepy. If those two predictions are correct and Spain ultimately win, you have to agree that this parrot is psychic.

Hi guys, before you say this parrot was "sensationalized". I'm sorry, but I live in Singapore and he was already in the news making the predictions for the 4 semi finalists BEFORE those matches happened.

The news of his predictions came before the matches were broad-casted. So it wasn't sensationalized.

At 5-1 odds for Uruguay to win today, I've put a few quid on it.

Hope the parrot really is psychic.

I think that when the germans stuff spain the parrot should be served up as starters after which the octopus can be fried up for main course.

I expect holland to beat uruguay but it could go to extra time and penalties leaving the winners even more tired for the final.

Its fairly obvious that Germany will lift the World Cup this year.

Uruguay is leading right now.

Now they are tied..1 to 1, and are taking a break...the outcome is still in doubt. Anybody's game.

FAIL!!!!


At the moment the Netherlands is leading 3-1 with 10 minutes left.

Too bad the parrot was wrong... I would have loved to ask him some questions...
