I have seen it referenced that they are taken to a processing center where BP recovers 'their' crude.

It'd be interesting to follow those trucks, though, and see where they go. Local Landfill?

look...this oil will never be cleaned up...it's just too massive...you think BP is going to spend hundreds of billions of dollars on the cleanup?? get real, if i lived on the coast, i would be selling my property to the highest bidding sucker...er...i mean buyer. and i would move to another state, because as many scientists have alread said, 90% percent of the oil is under water in huge suspended pools. that oil will be coming up on shore for the next century at least.
