The most technologically advanced nation on the planet cant plug a hole in the ground from the bp oil destruction;
because they are too busy investing in the stock market;
do you believe that is fake?

If the hole isn't plugged...the he is stating the obvious...nobody has ever had to deal with a problem like that before.....

So BP has the technology to drill deep underwater and create things like an oil well;
Yet they cant destroy it?
Last time I checked it was easier to destroy something than it is to create it

I can build an underwater oil well;
so easy that im buliding another one in alaska right now;

but ever since one of my oil wells blew up; Im having a hard time going underwater to such deep depths.....

Actually, I believe this to be false.

I think they simply can't plug the thing because we are humans, not gods, and our technology is not infinitely advanced. It may be more comforting to believe there is a conspircay hiding the solution for some reason, because that implies at least someone, somewhere knows how to cope with the mess.

I believe the truth is far more terrifying: We got in over our heads and now are in deep trouble. Its much easier for 2-year-old toddlers to break stuff than to put it back together. This doesn't change as we grow older.

As for the stock market, that's another issue althogether (although there is some overlap to be sure) and one equally screwed up due to the same sort of ignorance plus a large dash of greed and sociopathy.

They're quite good at destroying things. Like the Gulf of Mexico.

The problem isn't "destroying the well." Its plugging a crack that may be multiple cracks.

Its a lot easier to break a dish than to put it back together.
