First, it establishes without question that Islam and Muslims stand for peace. Any act of terrorism or compulsion in religion has no basis in Islam. The 4th Khalifa of Islam Ahmadiyya states in his landmark book, Murder in the Name of Allah,
"As far as Islam is concerned, it categorically rejects and condemns every form of terrorism. It does not provide any cover or justification for any act of violence, be it committed by an individual, a group or a government..... I most strongly condemn all acts and forms of terrorism because it is my deeply rooted belief that not only Islam but also no true religion, whatever its name, can sanction violence and bloodshed of innocent men, women and children in the name of God."

there is no reason for anyone to discriminate, or hate, or fear Islam or it's adherents!

time to open our eyes and our hearts!!!!
time to quit believing what the fear-mongers and war-makers would like us to believe!
time to quite equating extremism with the name(s) it hides behind!

whether it be Islam, Judaism, Christianity, or anything else, we should not make collective judgments based on what we're told.

why not liberate ourselves from bigotry on this, the U.S. day of Independence!!!

Like I said twice already, whatever dude. History shows how peaceful Christians, Muslims, and Jews really are. US and THEM is what creates the oppression. The peace that these religions speak of only comes forth when everyone believes what they want us to. Jump to then end of any of those holy books. The conclusions are all the same. A magical sky fairy desecnds from above and wipes out all the non-believers in a final war. I done here. I'm going back to something more productive now, such as figuring out how to keep religion out of the lives of those of us who do not need or want it.

Qur'an (3:56) - "As to those who reject faith, I will punish them with terrible agony in this world and in the Hereafter, nor will they have anyone to help." Sounds like kafir to me.

Granted however that some of the other quotes used in this thread are talking about self-defence. You are very aggressive however in your posting style its very off putting. Why do you seen to want to put everyone down.

My family - my husband, my children - are pagan.

What about the part that says that pagans should be separated from their heads?

Too much talk about beheading and forced conversion in the Koran for me to see it as a religion of peace.

Rather fond of my head where it is.

Do you know who "I" is? It is GOD. Not anyone else but God saying he will punish in this world (with misery) and the next (with Hell).

You are free to stick up for someone that believes muslims did 9/11 and then demonise the one who has a converse view than yourself.

I am not demonising anyone i made my views on 9/11 quite clear. I do agree with you that Islam does advocate peace however you cannot claim that the entirety of the Umma are peaceful. Yes I would say that the majority of them are however every group in society have their bad apples and the violent Islamic extremists are the bad apples of the Islamic faith. By denying their existence you are only ignoring a very real problem, ignoring the problem does not fix it.

I think I answered it, i conceded that you were right that some of the quotes were talking about self defence. However the quote that I gave you is specifically talking about Allah’s wrath ageist the Kafir. So I feel my point still stands. I noticed that you have never pointed out on anything that have correctly said.

And I have not used any NLP in my posting. That accusation is further proof of my point that you are being overly aggressive.

Islam is a religion of evil and needs to be destroyed, in my opinion. It is a fact Islam renounces liberty, equality and peace. It is a fact in Islamic countries stoning to death is a common punishment for promiscuity, or even being the victim of rape. In many cases a child will be killed by his/her father, this is a perfectly acceptable (and expected) form of justice in Islam.

Don't believe the propaganda. Don't make the mistake of equating the mild and contained Islam in western countries for the real Islam. The Sub-Saharan Africans made that mistake and look where it has gotten them. Extreme sanctioned abuse happens on a daily basis where Sharia is in place. I recommend asking a victim of Sharia whether Islam is a religion of Peace. Their answer is infinitely more valid than anyones here.
