And then there is the phenomenal coincidence of the hijackers taking the planes on the same day that the military just happened to be doing 4 air defense exercises? Or was it six? Have theyever done so many exercises on one day before? How did the hijackers know? Nah, it was just coincidence!

Actually, this is all well settled. Everyone is satisfied as to the nuts and bolts of the events of that day. There really are no open issues except some issues regarding the effectiveness of our intelligence and security communities. That is all, and those issues will be ironed out over time.

Another thing, since you brought up the Pentagon, and AAL 77 (and it falls into the broad category of all 9/11 "truthers" claims...

...the "massive engines". THAT is yet another misconception, and it is promoted by people who simply know NOTHING about aviation, airplanes, jets, and jet turbine engines!!

When you look at an airplane and see the "engine", what you reall see is the cowling (also called the nacelle). It encases the "guts" of the engine, but it is mostly empty space! The engines are constructed out of thousands of separate components, even most of the most recognizable parts, like compressor and turbine rotors are NOT all one piece. the central hubs are solid, but most of them are built with individual blades that are inserted into that hub....some of these blades the size of your hand, some as small as your thumb...(If you had the chance to walk on the ramp, near a jet engine, and a good wind were blowing, the engines will "windmill", and you can hear the individual turbine blakes "tinkling" in their hubs, because some of them are designed intentionally to be a little loose...they adapt to the airflow, inside the engines....)

Here....I will post a cut-away drawing of a typical Rolls Royce jet turbine engine....PLEASE study it closely. This is not meant to match exactly the same engine type on AAL 77, but it IS very similar and common to all modern jet engine designs:




With the types of impact forces involved in such high-speed crashes as seen on 9/11, the engines shed a lot of their parts, in the failure sequence.

I'd like to point out the BIG fan blades...the first ones there, that is the main power/thrust producer of modern jet engines.

EACH of those blades is removable. AND, they are made of aluminum. (An alloy, of course...but basically aluminium).

How do I know this? From a lifetime of experience, and knowledge.

When you have tthe opportunity to get "up close and personal" to a jet, you can look into the engine cowling intake, and see those blades up close...over the service life of an engine, they will inevitably get damaged, by ingestion of small debris. If they get "nicked" slightly, if it's minor, they can be "dressed" out, with a metal file. ALSO, once an engine has been in service for some time, and through a few maintenance procedures, the mechanics have, at one point in time, WRITTEN on them with magic markers --- numbering them. THIS WAY they can identify each blade, in records, and even REPLACE one blade, if necessary, then return the entire unit to service...and all of this requires meticulous record-keeping.

There is so, so much more involved --- I merely scratched the surface here. BUT, as usual, the lay public are totally ignorant of these sorts of details, (and this is only the aviation aspects...) and have no comprehension. THUS, the incredibly ignorant "9/11 conspiracy theory" wagon train keeps rolling along....sad, really.

I suggest, in your "research", you take some time to view some valid sources, not stuff like the ones you listed...because most people, even when watching or reading most of that dreck, can apply critical thinking skills, and ask questions (well, not directly of course).
