So, you think I'm an atheist?
You just naturally assumed that I was because I disagree with you, eh?
Thank you ever so much for proving my point exactly.
You might want to zip up...your ignorance is showing.

I wish I could give this post fifty stars.
It's never becoming to go around assuming things.

The words in that book came from the mind of a man who bleeds just like you do.

Fred Phelps probably knows it word-for-word and according to him, God hates you.

And no religious Nazis? All I'm saying is go ahead and state your beliefs, about atheism and about God or whatever. But don't act like atheists are bad and Christians are good. There are gems and rotten apples in every bunch! It's not us vs. them, we're all in this together.

Can I ask why you want to call attention to the obvious? Of course there are it's so evident in quite a few of the Salesman for God (Peter Popov).
Please don't ever assimilate me in anyway with those people. I follow Christ.

Or I try to, whatever. That's all that really makes me a Christian.
I study the word by myself or with friends. The big congregations aren't for me. Church leaders hate people like me worse than anyone. I'm there worst threat by far. I believe you should get what God want's you to get from the Bible. Not what someone else want's you to get.

I'm not Catholic. I'm certainly no pastor. I simply feel there is a God.
I employ logic the best I can to that knowledge.
So from the outset of my acceptance, that there is a supreme being.
The first logical thing I should say to self is.
You know, if there is someone who can do all this, then he must be capable of communication somehow.
Unflawed communication.
There is simply nothing on Earth like the Bible.
No other religion has anything that even comes close to the Bible.
You can not like it, for this reason or that. Cherry pick some parts you do or don't really care fore.

I'm telling you all every one of you that come across this thread.
And read these words. That book is alive and yes I know how that sounds.
Believe me I'm only speaking the truth as I know it.
It is called the Living Bible for a reason.

Read it with an open mind (which I know you can do) and I think you'll see how it sounds that way

Oh and Ok I will do that. I will go back and read my own opener with an open mind.

K . Let me say first. That's not that easy to do!!!! How do you go back and read your own propaganda with an open mind? That could be a new saying.

"That would be like trying to read your own propaganda with an open mind".
Oh sorry be'in silly again.

I will admit to as mush as a condescending ring to it. The part about
death not existing, was really directed at a few who, in the past found it
necessary to eliminate other things from existence not just deity.

Your personal opinion about your life, your spiritual practices and your view of myself mean nothing to me.

I don't even see where I called you an Atheist.

I think it would be better said like this:

A Christian says, " I will die for what I believe".

The Muslim says," you will die for what I believe".

membrrane or

The words in that book came from the mind of a man who bleeds just like you do.

Really he bleeds and everything?
Wha? Fred Phelps? Who? I don't care about Fred Phelps. is he your neighbor or something ? Nope don't care.

You have no clue what Islam is about. Let alone Atheism or the Christian religion. Please, for the love of God, show some respect.

Well, I think all three Abrahamic religions (Judaism, Christianity and Islam) can take on the motto "You will die for what I believe," considering the massive body count in the old testament, and then the joys of the Crusades, Inquisition, and witch hunts. Nothing that came from Abraham is without massive amounts of blood on its hands.
