4th of July should be onthe 4th

So here I am plannign on doing the usual parade firework thing tomorrow. I get a call from my mum saying that it is today


They don't do the 4th on Sundays.

Being a Sunday has nothing to do with the 4th of July, and should still be celebrated on that day. The parade doesn't start till 3. we are not interfering with church here.

So now I won't make the parade because I thought we would actually celebrate the 4th, on the 4th.

Round here they have already done all the fireworks because they don't want all the people in Detroit out at once on the same night. They put on fireworks in different places on different days. NONE OF THESE DAYS IS THE 4TH!

Seems as tho the churches are dictating when to celebrate the 4th, otherwise it would be on Sunday.
