Geithner GUILTY of Using AIG as Tool to Funnel 70 Billion to 16 US & EU Banks.

. . . Geithner helped orchestrate the "backdoor bailout" of major Wall Street firms through the insurance giant AIG. The Fed’s rescue of AIG helped secretly funnel nearly $70 billion dollars to sixteen big US and European banks.

. . . the government forced AIG to forfeit its right to sue several major banks, including Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch, for any irregularities in the mortgage securities it had insured on their behalf.

. . . regulators ignored advice from their own advisers to force banks to accept losses on the AIG deals instead of paying the banks in full.

One regulator personally thanked Goldman CEO Lloyd Blankfein for his "patience" as the Fed worked to ensure Blankfein’s company would
receive taxpayer money.

. . . the Treasury Department’s point man on the AIG bailout, Dan Jester, was himself a former Goldman executive who at the time still owned company stock.
www.democracynow.org...

You have been robbed by criminals who have taken over the US government.

Socialism for the hyperrich at taxpayer's expense.

You pay the taxes & the parasite freeloaders get Trillions in bailouts & corporate welfare.

Geither & much of the NewYork fed should be up on charges for the criminal engineering they did on the whole AIG bailout-robbery scam.

There is a REASON you got ripped off,
because GEITHNER & his FED henchmen planned it that way.

The banks took a big dump on the global & US economy and taxpayers had to eat it with the point of a US fascist government gun.

You are 100% right about that! The reason these treasonous thieves will get away with this is because Geithner is both a Goldman Sachs alumni and Obama's chosen boy. The mainstream media wouldn't dare report anything negative about Obama's 'lil Timmy so there will be no public outrage demanding his head on a stick.

Good find S&F

Hank Paulson was no different, also a Goldman Sachs guy.

Thanks for this bit of info. I am glad this finally got out.

The Geithner couldn't even do his own taxes.

So he definitely does not qualify for the position.

All the people that get into the CFO corporate positions and the Important political positions all usually have gone through goldman sachs.

And have gone through their college schools. I forget the main 2 schools that the goldman sachs guys are from, but its a college G. W. Bush Jr. went to.

This reminds me of the Pace commercial where at the end of the commercial they say...

"Get A Rope".

Cept I think we are going to need more than one.

edit-

OR...

Back to the future part 3 where he says..

"I think its time we had ourselves a hangin"

Good post.

But don't forget: someone else funnelled half a trillion to banks outside the US:

Geithner has never worked for Goldman Sachs. He was also not the guy that gave AIG the money, that was the US Treasury Secretary, Hank Paulson.

Edit: Ok, I was wrong. The Federal Reserve did bailout AIG in 2008 with an $85 Billion swap for warrants.

And just for the sake of accuracy... it isn't Socialism if the money is going to corporate entities. If anything, what we have been seeing for the last many years is anti-socialism. Or more accurately corporate facism. Through the various war efforts, the Wall Street tanking of the housing market and the subsequent collapse of the economy; and the bank and auto bailouts wealth from the populace has been funneled into corporate/elite pocketbooks. Over the last 10yrs the wealthy have become more wealthy and the poor more poor than at any time in history.

The return of Public executions will begin again. I wonder if other representatives and government bozos stepped up their security as Nancy Pelosi did?

I have always been for Capital Punishment. What I do not like is that it takes far to long in our Judicial System to prosecute and then bring Justice into the equation.

If an innocent man is condemned God will embrace that person and a place will be set for them.

It certainly didn't take too long to hang Saddam, let's hope we can be Swift and Just. I don't need to see it but I am not against the need for the people to provoke their rights.

So often I hear words of Ascension and Evolved States of Personal Growth, until we can purge our Nations of this Madness we will never reach anywhere than were we stand right now.

I am so happy TPTB can read!

I've had issues with the AIG bailout since day one... managed to get even more upset about it when they reported their $8.87 billion dollar loss for 4Q 08 (over 98 million a day for 90 days) but this newest development about having to forfeit its' right to sue...

That indictments weren't issued immediately upon this discovery tells me there truly has been a complete corporate takeover of U.S. government. Truly terrifying stuff. Anyone that still thinks we live in a democratic republic is NOT paying attention.
