Excellent and very interesting thread

You're being put to a great deal of work by us all and i hope it's not too great a liberty for me to add to that by giving you my own birth details.

15th November 1970 at 4pm, in central London (beside King's Cross)

Obviosly i've grown up under the forboding cloud of Scopio, which ultimately encourages one to look past things that initially appear to be threatening or repugnant. So, in my experience, being a Scorpio taught me a pretty decent life lesson and i'm proud to be one - though a confess to trying to maintain a healthy sceptamism of Astrology along with my easily unbridled enthusiasm for all things mysterious and archaic).

It would be ironic if after all i wasn't even a Scorpio; a little dissapointing, but i'm always excited about revelations and new directions (isn't that a Scorpio trait?).

Big thanks in advance if you find time to look at my chart. My partner -a Libra, or maybe not (4pm 8th October 1974 in London) is a 100% beliver and enthusiast and she'd be especially interested in your revelations about our charts (oops - i just slipped another request in there, didn't i? :roll

Would mean a lot to both of us if you find the time.
Cheers, McGinty.

Ophiuchus? I've genuinely never heard of it.

Either way- interesting stuff. I've lived most of my life under the impression I was Aquarian. LOL.

Thank you very much for your reply, though! Very informative!

Hi there...

Valid question...but it is not I who is looking for anything, anymore that is. I ended up on a 3 year search of how this could all be, was it a accident, was it purposely done....did men know what they were doing when they fixed the wheel long ago, was there something they tried to hide? The questions I had, made me search many things. So many people count on astrology to tell them what they are...and in this searching I discovered, no one can tell us what we are or what things should mean to us. Similar to the idea of religions, no one can tell another man what 'God' really is. We must seek our own path....it is a big step for people to not lean on another man....but to stand alone with their own eyes and ears and judge things for themselves. I hope to offer other the courage to do such.

I find it unfair that astrology tells someone for example 'saturn in in Leo' IF ITS REALLY IN VIRGO. It frustrated me more and more....

Ive had several threads about my own personal thoughts and findings....and when I started this one....I never dreamed so many would be interested in it.

Im not looking for anyone but my own self and what I am in the deepest being of me. I offer this for others to do the same....to find their own self and their deepest being of them.

Its amazing that on my own journey these last few years, I feel I have learned alot about living for others and what a offering of self is. I figured this would be a good way to offer myself to others, mabey they will find something interesting in it all.

Right now, what I am looking for seriously, is a bit of help

Im keeping the names and dates in a notebook as they get posted so I can keep track of where I am....but I have a waiting list of like 40-50 now

If anyone is very familiar with this program of Stellarium and how to do this (I know there are science buffs out there that us this program but might not want to associate themselves with such things like 'cosmic energies') but I do ask if anyone wants to help with this thread....U2U me. It would be for a good cause, and a offering of self to others.

My best

Ophiuchus? I've genuinely never heard of it.

Im going to use this reply to add a bit of into on Ophiuchus since some might not be familiar with it.

the-red-thread.net...

he constellation, Ophiuchus, has been known since ancient times, and is better known as Serpentarius, the Serpent Holder. It is included in the list of 48 constellations described by Ptolemy. Ophiuchus is depicted as a man handling a serpent; his body dividing the large snake into two parts, giving way to the symbol used today as an Asclepius - the medical staff. Astrologers have not included Ophiuchus in the wheel of Astrological signs because the Sun spends only about nineteen days in this 13th sign of the Mazzaroth. Not that there wasn't a 13th sign in the Heavens, but as far as Astrologers were concerned, the Sun traveled from the constellation 'Scorpius' and then proceeded directly into the sign of Sagittarius. In reality, this was not the case. The Sun, for 19 days of the year, travels through the star constellation 'Ophiuchus' before entering Sagittarius from Scorpius - see chart below. thus The sign of Ophiuchus is patterned after the original 'Serpent Holder', Enki, a Sumerian god.

To acknowledge a 13th sign now would seem awkward for astrologers, who like the tidiness of 12 signs that rule over the 12 houses of the Zodiac. The heavens are alive and they do change after a few thousand years and the astrologer who wants to maintain accuracy must change along with the signs in the heavens.

he constellation of Ophiuchus is the only sign of the Zodiac which is linked to a real man. This man lived in ancient Egypt around the 27th century BCE, and his name was Imhotep [again patterned after Enki]. Many of the same attributes of Imhotep can also be found in the Biblical Hebrew man Joseph, son of Jacob - [see comparison chart for these two men in separate article]. Imhotep is credited with many accomplishments including the knowledge and use of medicine. It is said of Imhotep that he brought the art of healing to mankind. The symbol of a serpent [or snake], which is still widely used today to represent the medical profession, was used to represent Imhotep. Imhotep was also known as 'Aesclepius' to the ancient Greeks, but by any name the attributes are still all the same. The attributes listed below describe the Serpent Holder, Imhotep, i.e. the Hebrew Joseph, and Aesclepius. The keyword descriptions seen below, originated with Betty Rhodes, and are the attributes for the 13th sign of the Zodiac - Ophiuchus:

The Caduceus [left] depicts two entwined snakes set upon a rod, and was the ancient symbol of Hermes, the Greek god of merchants. Today, it is a common and popular symbol of the medical and allied professions. Asclepius (an ancient greek physician who was deified as the god of medicine) is traditionally depicted as a bearded man wearing a robe that leaves his chest uncovered and holding a staff with his sacred single serpent coiled around it symbolizing renewal of youth as the serpent casts off its skin. The single serpent staff also appears on a Sumerian vase of c. 2000 B.C. representing the healing god Ningi#a, the prototype of the Greek Asklepios.

The link offers traits of the sign also....for those that want to look at those.

The Sun actually spends more time in Ophiuchus then it does Scorpio.

Hi there!

Your Sun rose in Libra at your birth, but very close to Scorpio. Mercury and Uranus also rise with the Sun in Libra at your birth.

Before the rising of the Sun on this day, Virgo rises in the East with a lot of energies with it. Jupiter, Saturn, Venus, and Pluto all rise in Virgo, in the east, before the sun rises. These positions still stand at 11pm that day.

Neptune sits in Ophiuchus.

Mars is in Sagittarius siting in the direction of the center of the galaxy.

The Moon is in Taurus.

I agree this may work for "certain" cases, but more often then not your around that sign near the month it's designated too. I'm an Aries through and through, because I can see that I'm the way they describe I should be. Maybe everyone isn't the same but I was meant to be an Aries and it seems I truely am. I'd like to see other members way in and see if they feel they are actually their astrological sign. If you wanna try me to see. March, 22 1985. Early morning

Well you do have Mars in Aries.

The Sun rises in Pisces on March 22....to show you this a bit more....we have our spring equinox right around March 20/21....where the sun rises on these dates determines what 'age' we are in. We are now in the age of Pisces and have been for 2000 years at least. You were born under the sign of our current age.

Mercury and Venus also rise in Pisces.

Moon is in Cetus, outside of the wheel.

Mars in ARies.

Pluto in Virgo.

Saturn in Libra.

Uranus in Ophiuchus.

Neptune in Sagittarius.

Feedback is welcomed!

I already know the sun was in Gemini and not Cancer on my birthday which is coming up soon. I took a course in Astronomy and I believe a simple star chart will show your sun sign or whatever it's called (the wheel you can turn around to look at the nighttime sky and see the constellations based upon a time). Anyway they briefly mentioned the topic of Astrology in the Astronomy class I took and mentioned over time, stars move and most of the signs are off by one sign. Using the newspaper date I'm a Cancer. Using what constellation the sun was in when I was born, I'm a Gemini. I see Astrology as entertainment even though I believe they took a scientific approach when it was first started. They were really the first Astronomers.

Thanks for adding Orion...

Just let me be the devils advocate for those that think its more then just entertainment.

If we all have a soul/spirit that is tied to all life through Spirit and connected to all things.....mabey its possible that our soul can choose what gate to be born through, and mabey it can be used as a 'awakener' to the body of flesh. I cant help but to say, and mabey its just me being crazy ....but the moment I went out to observe Leo for the first time after knowing what I did, I felt a familiarity within me.

I know nothing with any certainty though!

All my best

14th April 1951, early monring 10th October 1991, 4.30pm 8th July 1932 don't know time

Hi there!

4-14-51

Sun in Pisces along with Jupiter in Pisces (Pisces is our current age, meaning the spring equinox sun rises in Pisces).

Mercury and Mars in Aries (this was our past age before Pisces).

Venus in Taurus.

Moon and Uranus in Gemini.

Pluto in Leo.

Saturn and Neptune in Virgo.

7-8-32

Sun and Pluto in Gemini.

Mercury in Cancer.

Jupiter, Neptune, and Moon in Leo.

Saturn in Capricorn.

Uranus in Pisces (our currect age).

Mars in Tarus.

Venus in Orion!!! That is a first I have seen. (Orion sits outside of the wheel).

Before the sun rose on this day in Gemini, in the east Mars rises with Taurus, and Venus rises in the sky in Orion.

10-10-91

Sun rises at the left hand of Virgo, the hand that holds the wheat. Mercury and Mars both in Virgo very close to the wheat as well (the star Spica).

Before the Sun rises, Leo rises in the East with Venus and Jupiter.

Pluto sits on a cusp of Libra and Serpens (Serpens is outside of the wheel but is a part of a sign within the wheel called Ophiuchus...Ophiuchus and Serpens are really 2 signs in 1).

Moon in Libra.

Uranus and Neptune in Sagittarius.

Saturn in Capricorn.

Hi there!

Sun rose in Libra at your birth.

Neptune in Scorpio (Scorpio is what tropical zodiac would say you are, I call this our past sign but we can still carry traits over from it, especially if we have a planet or moon in it).

Mercury sits on a cusp of Scorpio and Ophiuchus.

Jupiter and the Moon in Sagittarius.

Saturn in Taurus.

Venus, Mars, and Uranus all in Virgo.

Pluto sits on cusp of Virgo and Coma Berenices (a sign outside of the wheel).
