You sir, are a moron. For some reason they didn't detain you, call the sheriff, and have you arrested. Regardless of the wheelchair, I think they should have. You obviously knew you weren't supposed to pass those signs. You pushed your luck, and this time got away with it. I've been to the signs many times, and always treat that border with the utmost respect, and leave with a friendly wave to the cammo dudes.

You know what makes no sense to me at all...

Why would the US gov. use deadly force on its own civilians ?
I would almost think they have got something to hide...

1) The "Deadly Force" section of the perimeter sign(s), at least at this gate, have been removed.

It is a standard warning at any US military installation. It does not mean that they will use deadly force, just that they can if needed.

The citizens of that country are quite the melting pot indeed, and not everyone is a patriot - or at least todays version of a patriot. And 'every' country regulates their populace as they deem fit.

Plenty of citizens have an agenda, good or bad, and yet you wonder why everyone isn't privy to all intel..? You roam this site on a regular basis, but come off like a rookie.

I think that the system has evolved to a point these signs are necessary.
I feel very strongly that the system is wrong.

I think it is not supposed to be like it is. I think, to change the system, people need to change, but how can they change if they only read. It is classified. Hmm. Okey.

if they are a little smarter, they say what you said. Not everybody is a patriot.

The intention was to make people think about that. Why, is not everybody a patriot ?

Id say youve hit the nail on the head, basic, simple and the truth. I know its highly unrealistic but imagine a suicide bomber being able to go all the way upto the place.

Maybe gariac can answer this.... at 6:51 in this video is a camera monitoring station and a warning sign at a spot I am not familiar with. Any idea of the location?

That location doesn't come to mind. Most of the remote border crossings just have orange poles, no signs or camera. Bald Mountain has a crossing with sign and camera. The camera at Bald Mountain moves, though they don't move it often.

The latest signs don't have the deadly force notice.
