If MSNBC is anti-Republican, and FOX is anti-Democrat, then what is Robert Greenwald?

Most of you have probably heard of Robert Greenwald, an American film director, film producer, and political activist, noted in the 2000s for his documentaries critical of Fox News and of the George W. Bush administration, as well as numerous award-winning television movies from the 1980s and 1990s.

Greenwald's documentaries include many films criticising the Bush administration and pro-Republican FOX. However, it seems that ever since Obama f*cked up, he hasn't made any more movies - the last being Iraq For Sale, which is still anti-Bush admin and anti-Blackwater who were hired by the Bush admin.

It is fine for Greenwald to be anti-Republican, but that makes him a biased person, as he shows in the following MSNBC anti-FOX video:

In this video they not only attack FOX, but also Sarah Palin who is mocked nationwide for making certain true statements that were too controversial for the US to digest.

I'm neither pro-Republican or pro-Democrat, as they are all the same, and I think Bill O'Reilly is the biggest idiot on TV, but they continue attacking Glenn Beck (I never listened to him, so I don't know if he's crazy or not) for claiming that the US is moving towards socialism, and attacking FOX for making false anti-health care plan statements.

If Greenwald is so skeptical about the US government, then he can't be so biased by supporting Obama and bashing Bush. How can he think that only the Republicans can be so wicked, but not the Democrats? They are all under the same wing!

The Democrats just make an invasion look like they are doing a good deed, and the Republicans are more ruthless, but in the end they are both invading the Middle East and killing the same amount of innocent civilians.

I hope someone can show me that I'm wrong, because someone like Greenwald I can only support halfway since he's only half anti-establishment - namely anti-Republican. He makes Obama look like the saviour after hell broke loose under Bush. Has anyone heard any recent anti-Obama administation statements from him?

Greenwald also recently interviewed Oliver Stone over Stone's new documentary South Of The Border where Stone travels across five South American countries to show that the portrayal by the US of these countries is completely false. You can watch it here:

So like many ATSers already say, there's no point following any of the mainstream media. And...I think it's good to listen to all sides of the story, but to ultimately make your own conclusions, preferably from independent sources.

Any further comments on these biased TV news channels?

Well,I have not a clue as to who he is.

I find it better to not watch any of the MSM news organizations since none of it just reports what is happening with out promoting their own agenda.

Sometime you find out the truth of what is actually going on from the foreign media.

Yeah, the truth can be found at PressTV and Russia Today (RT). Apart from that , I find the blogs more reliable than Prison Planet and Infowars, which tend to get carried away making explosive statements without even having the fully reliable supporting evidence.

The Vigilant Citizen is also a brilliant website, as well as Uruknet, DesertPeace, Global Research, Natural News etc. They provide all the evidence necessary to support their statements.

Hmmmmmmm, truth on Russia Today? That one statement told me more about your ideology than anything you could have written. I am a keen observer of RT, and find their "news" carefully crafted to advance whatever position the Medvyedev/Putin regime has at the moment. It is amazing to me that the "usual supects" in the US who supported the marxist USSR are now supporting the fascist Putin regime. I guess it matters not what the ideology of your friends may be, as long as they are anti-US.

He's a progressive, and makes some pretty slick propaganda.

That's not to say it's not true, or useful, just he does have a definite bias.

A lot of progressives are not happy with Obama though, I'm sure I've seen Greenwald criticize him at times.

I have seen some things that seemed to check out as "true" on Russia Today, but I completely agree that it's well crafted. They seem to love anything that makes the USA look bad, or has the potential to destabilize it. That's why they have people like Jones, Madsen and others on in my opinion. It's in Russias interests to foment anti-government feeling in the USA, and generally try and bring the country down.

A lot of news stations operate this way, it's not so much that they lie in their reports, sometimes they might, but most is lying by omission, targeted stories, and so on.
