iPhone Controlled Drone

A lightweight quadricopter that can be piloted by iPhone is set to take off this fall. A toy for now, the technology could prove to have other applications.

My very own drone. Now all I need to do is fit it out with guided missiles.

It's cool, I'll give you that ... but does the public really need access to such a device? People are inherently reckless when it comes to such advances in freedom.

If this is being allowed to go public, just imagine what is classified -- or beyond that.

It's what they don't tell/show you instead of what they *do* show you that we ought to worry about.

This is very cool, I love it. If you're worried about the possibilities, it's not much different than the countless RC aircraft that already exist. I had a Trex 450 heli with a video camera outfitted and I used to take some pretty cool vids of my flights. Same principle here, but even more clever with the "gaming" aspect of it. It's a bit pricey, but pretty ingenious.

now i can fly it around my house and see what my girl friend is doing..
