Obama on Illegal Aliens: "Being an American is Not a Matter of Blood or Birth"
Obama: Being an American is
Not a Matter of Blood or Birth
President Barack Obama said Thursday that being American “is not a matter of blood or birth,” but said that “no matter how decent” the
11 million illegal immigrants in the U.S. are, they should be held accountable for breaking the law.
Obama said Thursday that while America has always defined itself as a nation of immigrants, and while the “overwhelming majority” of illegal
immigrants come to the U.S. in search of a better life, “The presence of so many illegal immigrants makes a mockery of all those who are going
through the process of immigration legally.”
So... What the fekk is Obama saying?
Is he saying that illegal aliens are making a mockery of American immigration law and procedures and that they should be held accountable
breaking these laws?
Hell no, that's not what he's saying AT ALL
Read down further in the story, and you'll see what he's actually saying:
“But the fact is, without bipartisan support, as we had just a few years ago, we cannot solve this problem. Reform that brings
accountability to our immigration system cannot pass without Republican votes.”
Notice that Obama has amended
his statement, changing
his call for accountability from the 11 million Mexican illegal aliens to
accountability in the U.S. immigration system
Obama is talking about going back
to the bipartisan consensus on amnesty
that we had in the Senate three years ago, BEFORE
Americans tore their elected officials a new ass hole at the infamous Town Hall Meetings across the nation, which turned the Senate AWAY from
as a viable solution and gave birth to the Tea Party.
Barack Hussein Obama is talking about going back in time
and pretending that Americans are not wholeheartedly opposed to amnesty for illegal
Once again, Obama is turning up his nose to the will of the American people — he intends to punish
to Mexico, and
expand his party's voter base by some 11 million "instant citizens," and do so before the 2012 presidential election, if possible.
