Dubai admits nuclear material being shipped through its ports

www.telegra ph.co.uk

Shipments of illegal nuclear and weapons-building material have been intercepted in Dubai and other ports in the United Arab Emirates, local authorities have admitted.

Officials have accepted for the first time that the country is being used as a transit point for smuggling both money and illegal goods.

Just another node of instability in an increasingly unstable part of the world.

Dubai was in many ways emblamatic of the global emerging markets equities boom during the last decade. It entertained an over-the-top vision of itself as hermetically-sealed, ultra-private luxury watering hole for the new elite. The ensuing debt flameout and fall to to earth brought revelations of a seamier side -- decadence, human trafficing, corruption, appalling conditions of labor, and so forth. Is the tarnished emirite now telling us something even more ominous?

We seem to have a series of messages coming out of the UK MSM at the moment.. what with today remarks by the UK Military spokesman that implied Iran and Pakistan are funding attacks on British troops.. add this to that and we seem to be building a definate picture here...

A worrying but not unexpected picture.

Edit to add source of my comments, which is again from the Telegraph
www.telegraph.co.uk...

Maj Gen Messenger told reporters in London that British military intelligence has found “evidence” that some of the IED attacks are being supported from outside Afghanistan.

“We are looking beyond Afghanistan in terms of the provision of some of the more sophisticated components and the provision of finance,” he said. “There is evidence that something is coming in from Iran, something is coming in from Pakistan.”

What, to Saudi Arabia? Are they saying something without saying something here?

Mr Kaabi refused to confirm that Iran was the target of the recent interceptions.

Ha. Sounds to me like someone's twisting their arm, to be honest. To say these things.

Should be working now

Oh Didn't the Telegraph bring us Operation Blackjack

But seriously the MSM (especially the Telegraph) seem to be building in to a definate picture for the masses.

Halliburton is based in Dubai. Wonder if this is yet another way for them to drum up more cleaning business like they have in the gulf.

This is what happens when a country that depends on oil watches their reserves and production crash over the course of a few short years ... they gotta make some bank somehow.

Not only that but the Telegraph is carrying the story of how AQ attempted a bomb attack on British Ambassador in Yemen.

www.telegraph.co.uk...

And How AQ have an English laquage Newspaper on the internet that includes articles like "Make a bomb in the kitchen of your mom"

www.telegraph.co.uk...

Anyone see the picture that is being built here?? is it simply my tin foil hat moment for the day?

Sorry OP, not meaning to derail you thread but rather trying to add to it, I just see a definate picture being built and the article you post is a major part of the picture,

So now we have painted a picture of the bad guys and infered they may have WMDs leaves little doubt in my mind what the next step might be.
