'Iran supplied Syria with radar system to thwart surprise Israel attack'

The wall Street Journal is reporting Iran , in mid 2009 supplied Syria with anti aircraft system to thwart an Israeli attack. Looks to me like the Middle East has been preparing for war for some time.
During Israels attack on the suspected Syrian nuclear reactor, Israel was able to somehow electronically neutralise Syrias ability to recognise incoming aircraft. The result was Israel was able to destroy the reactor without being challenged.

It seems like each new day brings new information that leads the world to believe that war is imminent.

Not that it matters. The Israelis will be taking off from Saudi Arabia, they won't have to fly over Syria anyway.
