Well, being in the industry as well as being very passionate about food, this is fun for me. I believe I would choose food items that would trigger
all the memories of things I enjoyed while I was here.
Because I would want to enjoy the flavor of my food, unaffected by any other flavors, as well as every last moment spent here, my choice of drink is
Side item number 1: vereniki
filled with mashed potatoes. One may call it an entree but I'm pretty sure this falls under zakuski, which is
russian for hors d'oeurve, or appetizer, or snack, etc. I call it russian ravioli. This would remind me of my present stage in life.
Side item number 2: bread and butter
with the bread made of refined wheat flour. This would serve to remind me of anything and everything.
Entree: chicken spizzada
. Essentially, this is chicken stock - no mire poix - with garlic and parsley over semolina pasta. This would remind me
of my childhood.
Dessert: black tea with some Russian candies and a bottle of Dogfish Head vodka
. I have to represent the local vodka - made with love.
Most importantly, this food must be consumed with family. What's the point in eating if you don't have anyone to share the food with and enjoy their
