Why are you a slave to a flag?

This is not about spirit but about patriotism which is very differnt. You should let this obsession go. Its only a distraction for you.

Flags are for wars.

Star and Flag!!! You are a great American citizen and I am so proud to say I feel exactly the same way as you do. We, as citizens of the United States of America, need to bring back the pride, patriotism, and joy we should feel having been given the freedoms here in this amazing nation. I consider myself an American nationalist and believe pride is something that EVERY single American should have and NEEDS to have.

Thank you for this post. For me personally, it means so much. I wish more people in our nation felt the same way. Keep up the great patriotism!

Thanks. I am glad you enjoy the thread.

I listen to all of these on a regular basis, not just patriotic holidays. I have to limit the times I hear the ones about sacrifice and remembrance because it takes too much out of me.

I hope others enjoy my selections.

Nice thread

I was at Arlington a short time after the song "Arlington" by Trace Adkins came out.
I was there laying a good friend and brother in arms to rest and on my drive back home to Ft Benning GA that song played a 1000 time on different radio stations.

I know its a British saying but if you will allow me.
God speed my friend god speed.

I only embedded the videos of some of my favorites of the categories. I am sure that all the others are on youtube though.

I wish there were a way to embed them all in a way people could go through, or select without having a page of almost 100 videos.

I am trying to embed a wonder video of Red Skelton's Pledge of Allegiance.

Just a note to fellow citizens as we enter the holiday weekend.

Many, like me, may have huge differences with the government, both policies, actions and leaders. Don't let those differences stop you from celebrating and sharing with your kids what the holiday represents, and being grateful that the founders gave us the idea of a government of by and for the people, to ensure inalienable rights, and that those rights are worth fighting and dying for.

Happy 4th.
