GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip -- Two dozen masked men vandalized a U.N. summer camp for children in Gaza early Monday, burning and slashing tents, toys and a plastic swimming pool. It was the second such attack in just over a month.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack, which took place before dawn when no children were present.

However, Islamic extremists have accused the main U.N. aid agency here of corrupting Gaza's youth with its summer program of games, sports and human rights lessons for 250,000 children.

Link

This is sad. People hit a new low when they attack a childerns summer camp.

Fox News running a story about Islamic Extremists wanting killing children?

Well that's odd..

Funny how they said:

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack,
which took place before dawn when no children were present.

Then they blame Islamic extremists...without any sort of proof or backed up statement. Also, there were no children present..

So much propaganda these days..

Where is your proof that it was Hamas?

You can't prove a negative. I never said who it was or who it wasn't.

I'm saying that the article is clearly biased and Fox is presenting it to pin this on Religious Extremists, muslim exremists actually, without actually pointing the finger or using facts.

More opinion news.

We know police dress up as protesters to incite violence in the western world, so why wouldn't Israel consider such an underhand tactic for propaganda reasons?

I will be putting my money on Israel being involved with this. Hell, they even steal passports of ex-pats to commit acts of terrorism.

A democratically elected government will only go when the populous decided it is time. The people of Palestine will decide, not us.

All unproven and just talk.

I dislike Israel as much as the next person, but this isn't about Israel, this IMO is about Fox News lying through their teeth once again and blaming somebody by association or inference..

Without any more information than a clearly biased article, there's no way you can make an educated guess as to who did it.

True, but Israel has such a foot-in with Fox, just like the BBC in my country, that you can be pretty sure that the media patsies are only following directives.

Edit: Typo

since when did an act of vandalism become an "attack"?

If my car door gets scratched or some kids throw tissue paper in my trees, I doesn't get reported as an ATTACK. It's vandalism.

Only in the ME does agenda-laden branding take on a whole new meaning.

No, only in Western and European media does this sort of thing happen.

I'm sure everywhere in the ME they are reporting it as vandalism.

At 0230 on Monday 28 June 2010, a group of approximately 25 armed and masked men attacked and set fire to an UNRWA Summer Games recreation facility on the beach in Nuseirat, Gaza. The guards at the facility were physically assaulted and handcuffed but they were not injured. Fortunately no one else was hurt in the incident.

www.unrwa.org...
This is not Fox news. This is from UNRWA - known for its Zionist values.

Now i am sure that you know who runs Gaza. And without their knowledge 30 armed man would not attack ( sorry, "scratch") UN camp with guards.
So it is clear message that Hamas does not want this summer camp, it competes with their own system.
