A Mexican singer has been shot dead just hours after he denied reports he had been murdered.

Sergio Vega, a 40-year-old singer who went by the name El Shaka in his recordings, was killed on his way to a concert in Sinaloa state.

Gunmen travelling in a truck drove alongside Mr Vega's red Cadillac and opened fire on the vehicle, the BBC reports.

I guess it doesnt pay to sing ballands about drug dealers...

But the timing reminds me of WTC 7....Reported before it fell...

Was waiting for somebody to post this story. Even in a region of a country with a high murder rate, it still seems strange and coincidental. What are the odds?

I hear reports once in a while about singers and pop artists in the US getting killed off at a certain point in their carreer. I have even heard of a company that helps artists stage their death and start a new life somewhere else when they cant handle the stress.

There are no coincidences in the media industry, just a giant web of lies.
