Ideas, thoughts, information, and comments on this post will be greatly appreciated. Some of the material presented comes from an email from Arktwo, a "source" which is linked, one is directly from the Navy web site, link provided and another from a news paper, link provided. Approximatly 20 to 25 Naval Battle Groups are being deployed from vairous countries. A battle group normally will consist of an Aricraft Carrier and the protection/support ships.

Huge Navy deployment to test emergency plan

In-Depth Coverage
By James W. Crawley

Seven aircraft carriers more than half the nation's flattops along with several dozen escort ships and about 40,000 sailors will be at sea starting this week for the first demonstration of the Navy's emergency deployment plan.
(snip)
"It's pretty significant, but (the Navy) hasn't done a good job of explaining how significant it is," said John Pike, director of GlobalSecurity.org, an independent think tank in Alexandria. Va.

Information from: The Status of the Navy web page at :

www.chinfo.navy.mil...

Ships Underway (away from homeport): 164 (56% of total)
On deployment: 108 ships (37% of total)

This is 272 ships which is 93% of our surface ships

Submarines underway
(away from homeport):30 submarines (57% of submarine force
On deployment: 8 submarines (15% of submarine force)

This represents 38 Subs which is 72% of our Subs.

This email report from a from a source, always reliable: Arktwo...

US has twelve carriers. The idea is to have six in port and six at sea. Under the most pressing situation the Navy is supposed to be able to get seven to sea and an eighth two weeks later.

Today - ten have been ordered to sea.

But - ten at sea. Apparantly has NEVER happened before. And it is not just American ships - British, Indian, Russian, New Zealand, and Australia have put to sea and the relatively few that the Chinese have.
____________________________________________________________

If you see a contradiction on the number of Carriers deployed, keep in mind, some were already out there. Almost all of our Navy has been deployed. A submarine recently had two missle tubes taken out to make room for 30 Navy Seals...Again from Arktwo...

A state food inspector reported to me her visit to a civilian ship repair yard with contracts for nuclear submarines. These places have cafeterias for their employees and have to be inspected just like anywhere else. Anyway there was a lot of activity there - and guess what they were doing - tearing out the nuclear missile launch tubes. Why? To make room for troops that would sneak in close to shore.

Now read these from the Navy sites.

On Feb. 23, USS La Jolla (SSN 701), Los Angeles Class nuclear-powered attack submarine, departed on a Western Pacific deployment from its homeport of Pearl Harbour. It serves as a platform for Special Operations Forces. More than 30 additional Sailors were brought onboard as part of Seal Delivery Vehicle Team One.

And all that is just what is being reported on the Naval scene. You have to remember it is all still just psyops. What is not being reported is what is important.

(The US space nuclear test - for instance - earlier announced - but nothing further - and all the HAARP stuff going on, for example.)

Major troop and aircraft movements are also taking place.

The Rothschild's getting out of gold price setting, after centuries of monopoly in the area.

Bilderbergers meeting followed almost immediatly by the G-8 summit.

Now more info from: The Cutting Edge Weekly Update
cuttingedge.org...

Why has the U.S. Navy suddenly dispatched 10 of its 12 carrier attack groups to the open sea last week? This sudden flight from port to open sea is historically unprecedented and caused many people to ask, "Why"? (snip)

How significant is this sudden deployment?

"Central to the new operating plan is the Navy's ability to 'pulse' or 'surge' its aircraft carriers to one or more trouble areas simultaneously. The plan says the Navy will deploy up to six carrier strike groups within 30 days of receiving orders and, within 90 days, two more carrier groups. So, in three months, according to the plan, the Navy could have two-thirds of its carriers steaming near a war zone. Not only will the Navy be coordinating the movement of several dozen ships around the world, but also keeping them supplied simultaneously with everything from aircraft spare parts to fuel to food."

This is the official Navy response and it does make sense. However, when you consider that the number of American carrier groups deployed has risen to 10, further questions arise.

NEWS BRIEF: "Ten US Navy Carriers Now At Sea - Only Two In Port: USS Carl Vinson Has Gone Out", From Radwick, Rense.com, 6-10-4\

"This brings the number of carriers over the horizon to 10. This would prove to be a most COSTLY exercise if in fact this is ONLY an exercise. OR, are they all on emergency operational deployment? Of the remaining 2 carriers only USS Nimitz is deployable (snip)

If you have been really checking the news lately, you are aware of meteriors coming down in various places and strange flashes of light and unexplained "booms" in the atmosphere. Is this from HAARP or some other technology such as lasers being tested on meteriors in preparation for missles?

All in all, this news seems to be quite distressing and makes me wonder what is going on. We are looking at billions to deploy such a naval armada just for exercises. Knowing the Imperial Federal Government as I do, it is very hard to trust a move like this one. There are too many questions and no answers!

My big question is, are we on the eve of WWIII?

Goverments would never launch such a massive operation unless it had a practical reason: too expensive.

They would only deploy if they really needed to. Which put it into one of three main categories.

Natural Disaster: Asteroids, (unlikely but not unheard of)
Earthquake of enormous magnitude, (possible)
Volcano of massive magnitude (again unlikely but not unheard of)
Pole shift (unlikely but an unknown factor)
or
Combination of the above.

Man made disaster. (possible)

War. (most likely, with Iran, Nth korea and China throwing their weight around.)

Wrong my friend a lot of time these things are done as a show of force, and believe me with Bush in office we (the military) have all the money we will ever need.

Below are the headlines with links which I have found so far to prove the point of naval deployments. If I find more proof of other nations navies deployed, I will post it.

There are a few more countries which have deployed their navies but this writer has not found a source to "prove" the deployment other than some emails from those who have proved to be most reliable over the years. One can deduce that if naval deployment stories A, B, C, and D are true then it is logical that E and F deployment stories would/could be true also in this matter.

Even if we have 27 8X10 color glossy photos with circles and arrows and an explination on the back we are still faced with the question: Why this? Why now?

Why has the United States Navy sent almost the entire fleet out to sea, some of which probably should still be in port under going repairs and refitting.

Another point if interest in all this, is that if this is the eve of WWIII, just how long would a carrier group survive in all out war? Would they ever be able to get the planes back onboard once launched?

Russia has a 200MPH torpedo and there is no defense against it. Armed with a small nuke, it would take out an entire fleet at one shot. They also have a cruise type missle which skims the ocean surface and is on a ship before they have time to defend against it. You can bet China has at least some of these or something similar in their bag of tricks.

America has spread our Military too thin to even think about opening up another front or at least it appears that way on the surface. The only other option would be "total war" in which what ever enemy we choose to attack would be a control/alt/delete situation in that we would just wipe them off the face of the earth.

Military critics say you can't win a war by air power alone and that is hogwash. In North Korea for example, we could literally crush them within a matter of moments into the battle if all our major weapons were brought on line. Use the fuel/air bombs on the front lines and on large concentrations of troops, bunker busters on the caves and underground facilities, and nukes on the rest. There would be nothing of concern or danger left.

The same would/could apply to Iran, Syria,(the Bible predicts the total destruction of Syria), or anyone else who got in the way of Bush Light and his merry band of neocons in their lust for power. In total war, collateral damage is of no concern, only crushing the enemy and his ability to wage war.

Possibilities: Earthquake...doubtful, we are getting much better about predecting them.
Meteors/astroids......again doubtful...amateur astronomers would have the word out by now.
Invasion by little grey ailens with big eyes...DUH!

So we are back to WAR. Is the US about to be nuked into the stone age? (That would be a reason for deploying our Navy.) Is this only saber rattling to instill great fear in the Middle East nations or for that matter any country who does not bow down to Bushes Facist Pax Americanna in it's lust to rule the world instead of the Socialist U.N.? (What a choice!)

Someone far wiser than this writer once said..."Keep your eyes on the Middle East". Somehow all of this seems to revolve around that area. Even North Korea is tied in with the Middle East with their weapons sales.

Bush Light has to have something of a great magnitude to take the heat off him and the neocons in order to beat Scary Kerry...or so it seems at this point. Rest assured if Bush Light and his neocon thuggs are not impeached by October, what better way to win an election than to orchestrate an "event" where he could step fourth as a super hero extraordinaire!

Keep your powder dry.

If it is war games, maybe the USN is trying to get some pay back for the RN kicking their butts in the last exercse - this is from memory, but didn't a destroyer manage to sink one of the newer carriers??

I agree, this level is unprecidented - the last time this was seen was during WW2. But, what else do you do with a Navy apart from put it to sea?

You said that the 200mph tomahawk could take out the entire battle group if it had a nuke on board... well the reason why the ships all take part in a battle group is to protect each other. The capitol ship, a carrier or battleship, will protect the ships from the air. The standard Nimitz carrier can deploy 3 fighters a minute when at battle stations.

If the tomahawk were aimed at the carrier, it would have to get around all the other surface ships - each with anti aircraft machine guns, cannons etc. Also, EM jamming would divert the missile off course. If it is an ICBM that they decide to launch (just for the hell of it mind you - i mean its like killing an ant with a sledgehammer), they use GPS to navigate around the world - and the US controls GPS. Just a thought. \

Though I think something is up. The USN is twice the size of all other western navies combined - so little point in doing war games cause the USN shouldn't have any probs.

Well, when this war on terror first started I thought it was mainly about al Qaeda. Recently, a lot of Africans have made it into the picture. Namely, a Somali planning to attack a shopping mall trained in Ethiopa. I wouldn't be surprised if we go into Africa soon.
