Johnson Space Center/Mission Control

Topic started on 13-6-2004 @ 10:42 PM by sweatmonicaIdo

I saw the new Mission Control Center at Johnson Space Center. Probably the most high-tech, coolest place on Earth!

When did they get that new Mission Control Center? As we all know, they used a different MCC during the Space Race. It was a bit smaller and had long rows of consoles. Since when did they have a new MCC? I know they did use the old MCC even during the shuttle missions, so the new center must be fairly new.
