Why doesn't Nobel committee guarantee a prize for gulf oil fix?

Look Kissinger got a Nobel Prize, Al Gore and Obama , too. What do the little people get out of all this?


Do economic sponsors pay for their prize?


Gulf oil spill, what about a prize guaranteed for an idea to fix it?

And stop saying, "tell it now". Let your mama tell it now.

I'm beginning to wonder if BP wants to fix the leak. Let's face it, someone could come up with a guaranteed fix, doesn't mean BP will use it.

I'm down for it.

I don't see why those dumb butts can't plug a frickn' ruptured oil pipe as soon as they got it. Now they caused a whole mess of problems before doin' the smart thing in the first place.

that makes way to much sense for the committee that gave OBAMA the Nobel peace price only weeks after he was in office and didn't do crap for peace.. even now after many many months..

Hell the nomination period was done even before he entered office.. if thats doesn't say enough then nothing does.

Nobel is as corrupt as government!

The idea to fix it is "drill relief wells, fill with heavy drilling mud from bottom. Once you pump enough the gravity of the mud will overcome the pressure of the oil & gas, and the flow will stop and then you can cement the top properly."

The fix is the same as it was 50 years ago.

The Nobel Prize Committee awards prizes as specified in the will & foundation. They don't make the rules up as they go.

Because no one has fixed it!

But YES Odrama gets a prize and he didn't even do a thing, the Nobel prize is a running joke.

so if someone receives one sell it on ebay you'll probably earn 100 dollars.
